Question about Akai LCT3201AD 32 in. LCD Television
My tv's sound died. There used to be a high pitched sound when turning the tv on. Then the sound would go off. To get the sound back on I would change the sound settings, then I'd have to change the picture brightness to a dark setting, finally when those 2 methods didn't work I'd have to unplug & reset the tv. Now none of these methods work. Is there a sound card or something that is easily replaced?

The only solution at this point would be to get the power supply repair since new boards are not longer being manufactured. In about 95% of the time if the LCD doesn't power up or turns OFF by itself or need to be unplug for some time to make work again; those are the symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.
I service these power supplies, for more info write to firstname.lastname@example.org
