Some thermostats have a setting that keeps the fan running constantly. If its a programmable one you can change it. If it has a fan limit control it my be sticking.

SOURCE: Coleman outdoor furnace/AC blower speed too fast

You are right slow for heat and fast for A/C. Here are the blower speeds black is high blue is med. and red is low if you have orange it would be med low. Look on the control board and see what color wire is connected to heat and let me know if you have something other then control board. You can take the wire that is on park and swap them around. ken

SOURCE: blower fan wont shut off

Try cycling the switch at the furnace to reset the blower board. If this doesn't work remove the green wire from the blower board(computer board) to eliminate a shorted t-stat or shorted wire between the furance and t-stat. If blower remains on, then blower board is shorted. I've seen all these problems.

SOURCE: I'd like to see if I can get a replacement blower

The central air units are designed to run at a specific speed (100%) if its older unit. The problem with putting in a slower speed motor(2speed) is the unit will still run at max speed. (nothing to regulate the speed). If you contact your local HVAC shop its possible they may be able to convert your unit (but I doubt it). They do have new units that run at 2 speeds when demand is low and run at a higher speed when the demand requires more cooling. Check this link out. Has a little more info. http://www.air-conditioners-and-heaters.com/two_speed_central_air_conditioning.htm

SOURCE: on a split unit AC/Heat Pump the inside blower

Its fine. That's your expansion valve you hear. the outdoor units fan runs to cool down your compressor. Don't worry about it.

My ac is making to much condensation what sould the value speed be set on

If you increase the airflow, the blower moves more air across a cold coil and less moisture is removed due to less "air to coil" contact. If the air flow is slowed, the air passing through the coil is at a slower rate giving the coil more contact time and removing more moisture. Faster speeds for more area coverage. Slower speeds for lower humidity. In your instance, if you have a cold set temp(72°f or lower) your unit will run a lot no matter what speed the blower is in. But, high speed less moisture removal. Unless set temp is set too low. And if I can ask, why is too much moisture removal an issue?

Blower runs at a slower speed when ac shuts off

Does it run on high speed when the A/C is running? Replace the fan control center.

2008 Honda Odyssey AC fan works on low and med speeds but no high speed blower

There should be a high speed blower relay that bypasses the resistor for slower speeds.
Check with an auto parts store or the dealer.

I have a 2003 Envoy XL, 116K miles. Yesterday as I was driving I noticed that the AC blower speed was not changing as I pressed the buttons to change speed. If you shut the entire climate control unit off,...

You need to replace the BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL MODULE. its up under the dash, near the blower motor. Your dealer or a AC DELCO parts house will have it in stock, very common problem.

The AC button light blinks on and off. AC won't

When the light is blinking that means there is a code in the system you will have to take it to a shop and have the codes read. Sometimes "Jiffy Lube" or "Rapid Oil Change" can read the code for but they won't fix it. If the blower motor only runs on high, the blower motor resistor is bad. When you put the fan switch on high it puts full voltage to the fan motor (blower motor) when the fan switch is in any other position, the voltage is reduced by the resistor causing the motor to run at slower speeds. The two problems are probably a result of the resistor.

I have a GPG13 unit that is locking out on the aux limit switch. Can I increase the post timer for the bnlower. The blower compartment stays too hot after shut down and causes the aux limit to shut off.

You should be able to adjust the Blower off time by way of Dip switches on the circuit board...these are typically and band of tiny switches on a red block . Is the furnace new??? You may also increase the speed of the blower by using "High" speed which is the same as the AC speed...heat typically uses Medium...also make sure your filter is Clean and yoiur retun air vents are open and not obstructed
