Put new plug wires on my eclipse now it runs crappy

You may have your plug wires in the wrong order.
The firing order is 1-3-4-2 om cpounter-clockwise rotation. Look at the digram below. Notice the shaded blue is cylinder 1. From there, make sure 3 is the next wire, then 4 and finally 2.

Lights come on. no power with turning key.

i had the same problem with a side post battery. the bolt was not making good contact with the terminal conected to the wire. i cut the rubber off to remove the bolt and cleaned all the build up. also check for a good ground connection and also the power wire going to the starter it could be a loose connection.

Eclipse CD8445 Clock Problems

If you lose your preset stations as well, it means that your memory wire (sometimes yellow sometimes red) is not hooked to a constant power source. Get a testlight and find a wire in where the radio is at that has constant power once you find that attach the memory wire.
