SOURCE: broken water line inside of refrigerator door

Check if there is any sound when the water dispenser lever is pressed, if there is click and no water, check on the filter and incoming. if there is no clicking sound, maybe you have a damage solenoid valve.

SOURCE: Broken Optibin door on LG refrigerator

I got a new bin from repairclinic.com, but the little nubs that hold the bin onto the door (in the thin plastic lining of the door itself) are snapping off. Sigh.

Door will not lock .what do I need to replace .?

If the door won't latch, the door latch assembly might be defective. These are normally made of plastic and cannot be repaired. If the door won't latch and the door latch is broken, replace it.
It can also be a defective main control board, but this is not common.

Refrigerator door latch

Sounds likely. Did you try shooting a little wd-40 on the latch, then push something about the size of the pin in there to work it loose?

My LG refrigerator is model LFC25760SW, double door, bottom freezer. When you close one door the other door opens slightly. I think the top latch has weakened. How can I repair this? Are new latches...

I'd look into the original owners manual that shows how to align the French doors when first purchased. Sounds like heavy usage, or it was improperly put on when you first got it. Try that first, re-align, and tighten the bolts. Last resort is replacing the latches, call the LG customer service center at 1 800 243-0000 for details.

Need part number for door latch for an LG LRFD25850ST

A fridge does not have a door latch, the door is held closed by gasket and a door stopper.
If you are looking for door stopper, here the part:
Stopper, door part1. 243A on diagram.Number:4620JJ3006CSubstitution:4620JJ3006D
Stopper, door Part2 - 243B Number:4620JJ2009A

Here the diagram find the part and check part list below:

Lg wd-8013c washer door latch broken. Is there an emergency release?

Hi,

Run a shoelace between the door and the face of the washing machine, starting at the top, over the latch on the middle of the right hand side and down to the bottom.

Pull both ends of the shoelace towards the hinge on the left.

This pulls open the latch with NO DAMAGE and allows access to the screws that remove the latch mechanism. Easily ordered and installed with two screws and a plug to reattach.

LG give no support or reference to this easy procedure in their manual. SHAME!

We solved this problem by replacing the plastic parts on the top & bottom of the door that 'latch' the door closed.

On the top of each door is a white plastic 'cam' that latches into a receiver at the center point of the refrigerator chamber. One of mine was broken.
Additionally, on the bottom edge of each door is a white plastic hook-shaped 'stopper' that provides spring tension. I replaced both of those and now all is happy.
