Question about Motorola Walkie Talkies 2-Way Radio
We use Motorola Talkabouts MOdel MD200TOPR in our school. They are rechargeable and have the battery pack wrapped in black plastic. Since we've been back to school, most of them will not hold a charge. Can I replace the battery pack.?

You can obtain a wall adapter style charger for your radio at your local Motorola dealer, or online at http://www.eradiostore.com/cart/index.php?target=products&mode=search&subcats=Y&type=extended&avail=Y&pshort=Y&pfull=Y&pname=Y&epcode=Y&q=htn8232
Sidenote: The rechargeable battery is good for about 2 to 3 years. You can tell the age of your battery by looking at the date code on the back of the battery above the stop sign. The first number is the year, the next two numbers are the week of the year. 915 would be 2009 the 15th week. (Or if very old it could be 1999 the 15th week.) A good battery, when charged will go an 8-10 hour day.
Keep both of your charge trays, replacements for these are no longer available.
