You can selectively back up music and photos in iPhone and then reset your iPhone. Just follow the below steps to attain this aim.

Download and install this iTransfer on your computer. Then follow the below steps to learn how to transfer and backup iPhone music to PC in clicks.

Step 1: Connect iPhone with computer

Use the iPhone USB cable provided by Apple to connect your iPhone to computer. And launch Leawo iTransfer, then you could see your iPhone appear on this program.

Step 2. Open Music tab

Under the iPhone device tab, open "Library > Music" tab successively. Select the music files you want to back up to PC. You could choose multiple music files by checking before them.

Step 3. Backup iPhone music to PC

Right click the selected music files and then choose "Trasnfer To > My Computer" option. If you want to backup iPhone music to iTunes, just select "Transfer to > iTunes" option and then this iPhone music backup tool would start to back up music from iPhone to iTunes immediately.

Step 4. Set output directory and start backup

Then there will appear a box to let you set the output directory to save the iPhone music backup file. You could still choose to backup iPhone music to iTunes as well here. After setting output directory, click the "Transfer Now" button to start the iPhone music backup.
With Leawo iTransfer, you could transfer multiple data and files like music, video, photos, etc. between iOS devices, iTunes and computer. Also, as a dual-way iOS data transfer app, you could transfer music file and other data/files from iPod and other iOS devices to computer as well. If you're using a Mac computer, you could make use of Leawo iTransfer for Mac.

As for backing up photos, the steps are similar. For more details, check: How to Back Up Music from iPhone to PC

If you have an iCloud account you can backup your iPhone 4 by going to Settings, iCloud, Storage & Backup, Back Up Now.
Then when the new phone arrives and you get the option to restore from a backup choose Restore from iCloud Backup, choose your backup and wait. You new phone will be just like the old one was. Same apps, wallpaper, photos .etc

I need to transfer some photos and videos from my iphone to computer. How do I do this?

First you need to authorize your PC with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so. With your iPhone connected to iTunes and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
Besides what mentioned above, I like to share you a article about transferring files from iPhone to computer, which included transferring iPhone photos and videos to computer/iTunes.
Hopefully this works for all of you like it just worked for me!
