Question about HP DeskJet F4280 All In One Printer InkJet

1 Answer

I just bought a HP Deskjet F4280 Printer, hooked it up to my HP laptop (Vista OS) and I'm trying to print a sheet of business cards. The right column has two business cards superimposed on top of one another on the printed page...it's not on the screen, but it prints that way. How do I fix it? Is it a Win 2007 prob or a printer prob? Or both?

Looks like this has to do with the interaction between the Win 2007 (assuming Office) and the printer driver. Try reinstalling the driver for the printer. Even downloading another one from the HP site if necessary.

After opening the link, select your operating system (win xp/vista,etc). After downloading the driver on to your computer, run the setup and install it. After installation is complete restart your computer.

Small print and it prints a whole sheet size like a business card

Try going into the printer settings in Control Panel - printers and faxes and right click on your HP printer. A drop down menu will display and at the bottom of this menu there is a section "properties" click on this and property scrren will display. Click on "printing preferences" and a preference screen will display.
click on "page setup" and set paper size to A4 or whatever size you are using.

My hp deskjet allinone doesnt print but is connected itsays error

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
