Question about KitchenAid Blenders
Has been sitting for some time due to blade drive shot ---just found out how easy and cheap it was to replace the drive made repairs, now motor will not run (as if no power to controls).
If you have to ask how to do it then there is a good chance that you will not have the equipment to do the check and if you do have a meter you will be electrically unsafe doing it. For starters you need a multi meter, disconnect the motor from the speed control pcb and check it for a circuit. It is more likely that the motor or pcb will be faulty, cable faults on blenders are very rare but now you have your meter you can disconnect the cable from the pcb and check each wire for a circuit.
