SOURCE: an error a occure. unable to perform the wii

According to Nintendo this means that Nintendo itself is doing system updates. They do list a phone number if the errors continue. Here is the link for both. If this helps can you please rate me. I do not get paid for this but I worked in an electronics store for 13 years and like helping people.

SOURCE: unable to perform the wii

Hi there,
This is likely due to a problem with your router. It could be that there are security settings attached to your router that have not been set up in the Wii, or it can't get through your router's Firewall. If it's a Firewall problem, visit http://www.portforward.com to find the proper port ranges for your router. If it's a problem with the security settings, go into your Wii Settings and set up your Internet Connection manually.
