My machine starts to fill and then stops. It flashes 7 times. What is this error?

What is the Brand and model of your washer ?

Is it Indent ?
Many basic UK Indesit washing machines fitted with a rotary dial indicate error codes by clicking the dial continuously round and flashing the door lock light a set number of times.
If the door light (LED) flashes 7 times it means, "Heater relay stuck - check connections on heater and module (PCB)".
In my experience, this fault code usually required a replacement PCB and EEProm. A connection fault on the heater usually results in the entire washing machine going dead. Nothing will work, but the LEDs light up. This symptom can also be caused by an open circuit motor or other faults.

It's always possible for a connection fault to cause error codes but the heater relay is embedded in the PCB and if it develops a fault the whole board needs replacing. I don't recommend replacing the PCB as a DIY repair. It is an expensive part and it will not be guaranteed unless fitted by an engineer. New PCBs do not come with the micro-chip EEPROM which would also need fitting. Replacing the PCB and EEPROM yourself is risky. If the fault is not cured you cannot send the parts back.
If you have an engineer to replace the PCB and EEPROM I would imagine the cost is likely to easily be over £100. If your washing machine has a 5 year parts guarantee Indesit would supply the PCB free of charge but only if their own engineer fits it at a cost of about £90.
If you are really keen to fix this yourself and want to try another PCB there is a company that might be able to help and are happy to deal with the public called Quality Electronic Repairs (see link below)

Buttons on front of tv not working

Try to clean the buttons pcb fitted inside of tv as there is some moisture and may be track open on the pcb board where these buttons are fitted . You may check the internal connectors of Buttons pcb and the mother board inside where some leakage leads to such issue. Clean the pcb and connectors clearly and perfectly then this issue will not occur further.

are all 3 cycle lights flashing together? if so then the eeprom has blown (the little pcb fitted at 90deg to the main spuel 6 card. This component is very prone to failing where there are power cuts or surges . You will only need to replace the eeprom and not the main card but make sure power is ok before you fit new one or it may blow again.

New Lamp turning off after 5 seconds

1. (Lamp may light and go out) suspect bad lamp part # 915P020010 2. Check for 12-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 4 on the Engine Driver PCB, if missing check for an open F9A09 on the Power PCB, if it is open replace F9A09 part # 283P127060 and the Light Engine part # 939P977010 3. (Lamp may light and go out) Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if low or missing check C9A37 and C9A38 both 3300 UFD 10 V part # 181P732040 on the Power PCB (part # 930B921002) 4. At power on the lamp turns on and off three times and then the unit shuts down with a red lamp LED (lamp error). Replace the Light Engine part # 939P977010 5. Lamp enable line at J14 pin 6 does not switch to 5 volts after turn on, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good. Suspect the Light Engine part # 939P977010 6. Lamp enable line at connector J14 pin 6 on the Engine Driver PCB switches to 5 volts after turn on and does go to 0-volts (low) after 5 seconds, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good. Suspect the Lamp Power PCB (ballast) part # 939P978010 7. Lamp enable line at connector J14 pin 6 on the Engine Driver PCB switches to 5 volts after turn on but does not go back to 0-volts (low) after 5 seconds, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good. Suspect the Light Engine part # 939P977010

Door not closing Zanussi FX1265W 1200 Auacycle

Further to my previous posting, I have now got a new Bosch but I have removed the PCB from the FX1265W. I found that the printed circuit track between the edge connector and the triac has blown. The triac (BTB16) was tested and faulty. New triac is on order (£1.03). I will post again when it has been fitted and the track is repaired and if the machine works.
