I have purchased a new Ellies Remote Blaster to change DSTV channels from my bedroom, while the DSTV decoder is the my lounge, approximately 5 metres away. Cannot get it to work.

The remote blaster is paired but still does not work.

Nothing on the remote works. We changed the batteries. No luck.

try using a phone that is enabled with IR blaster and see if the device works, if your phone is able to control the device then it means that the remote is faulty, but even if your phone is not able to control the device then it means the receiver sensor in the device is faulty, but before that make sure you try with multiple devices using your IR blaster enabled phone to see if the phone itself is working. Also, note that local mechanics usually does not fix remote so would suggest you to buy a new remote and if it is not available you can get a universal remote, but make sure that it is compatible with your device.

It is telling me to pair my remote, what do I do?

If you already have a working remote, just cancel pairing. If your trying to pair an additional remote for game-playing, or "Remote-wars" just follow the on-screen instructions for pairing. Make sure you have fresh batteries in your new remote, and keep it within aproximately six feet while pairing.

My samsung 3D led multisystem smart TV remote control does not work anymore

It needs to be Re-Paired to the TV.

First, fresh batteries, and clean battery contacts if needed.

Then, Try Pairing procedure:
  1. TV off
  2. Bring remote within 3 feet of TV
  3. Push Pairing button (Paper Clip or other pointed object in button hole)
  4. Turn on TV
  5. Should be paired. Try remote channel or other buttons.
  6. If not, try 2 more times.
  7. If still not working, push RESET button first and repeat Pairing.

Samsung remotes for LED / LCD TVs are generally RF, not IR.
Most Universal remotes do not generate RF signals, so disregard advice about codes for Universals.

Please rate if Helpful.

Good Luck !!

My iPhone don't work with my Bluetooth speaker system

Paired is not connected. Connecting is the next step after pairing. Then make sure that the ilive speaker is set as the dudio output device.

Remote says "blaster not responding".

Hi. If the blaster is not responding for your Harmony 900 remote, it could be caused by RF interference. Usually power cycling the blaster fixes this, but since that did not help I would look for sources of interference. This can be anything from an RF baby monitor, microwave oven, wireless Internet router, cordless phone, or any other RF device. If you have any of these things in the room where you use the blaster, try moving them out and testing it again.

Regards,

D
