SOURCE: Zanussi fridge freezer - fridge not working

The defrost cycle is not happening like it should, that's what causes the block of ice (and poor air flow). If you have all that defrosted look at the defrost bi-metal, it usually is a small round disk with a couple wires coming out of it and it's clipped on the coils. When it's cold enough, it passes electricity to the heat elements, when it gets hot enough it "opens" and kills power to the heat elements. If that is bad (swollen cracked or bloated) and not passing electricity to the elements that's the problem. Another item would be the defrost timer itself, if it doesn't work (no clock motor turning) then it will never go into defrost. And the last and usually least expected failure would be the heat element themselves not working

SOURCE: FRIDGE FREEZER BUT FRIDGE STOPPED

look on the back wall of the freezer is there snow? if so you have a defrost component out (timer, limit, or heater) the fresh food compartment gets cool air from the freezer so check for blocked air pathways the build up of frost in the freezer stops air flow so you will be cold on freezer side and warm on ref side

Fridge not cooling no air from bottom freezer that is working

The fan has to work. The fan makes everything, either cold or cool. The fan blows air into the fridge part, as well, as the freezer. The defrost control is what turns the fan on and off. When in defrost, the fan stops. The compressor stops as well, in most cases. Good luck.

Fridge light bulb

Not sure how the light socket only has 6V supply? The bulb for this fridge is a pretty standard 15 Watt/230V SES lamp. If you are sure the current lamp is OK I would suggest the door lamp switch has issues. Try pressing and releasing the door switch manually and check that it functions ok without getting stuck or any sluggish movement. This action in itself may fix the problem.

My fridge is dripping water inside the fridge

If you have a frig with the freezer on top, I might be able to help. When you frig freezer goes into defrost,. It melts the ice on the coils in the freezer. The water from that process drains from the bottom of the freezer, down a tube to the bottom of the fridge. If that drain gets something in it and stops it up, the water will overflow and run into the fresh food section of your fridge. If you can locate this tube at the back of your fridge. You can blow into it. Notice if there is a restriction when you blow pressure in it. A lot of the times when you start to blow it will be hard to blow through it. Then what ever is in it will let go and blow out releasing the restriction. If this happens, you will need to take the back inside wall out of your freezer and locate what was stopping the tube up or it will end up back in the tube again.

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

The refrigerator is not keeping tempurature. Freezer is working fine

Either the freezer fan has stopped blowing air or the defrost timer has stopped and the airways to the fridge are clogged with ice. Only the freezer gets cold in a refrigerator. The fridge part gets cold by cold air being blown through air passages from the freezer. Good Luck!!

FREEZER SECTION WORKING OK, FRIDGE SECTION NOT WORKING

Check the vents of your fridge side if present, if no air then may be your blower not working or some ice formation that blocks the air(try defrosting). Check also your vents for obstruction or overloaded with stocks.
