Changing the input on a hitachi tv without the remote

well if I knew the model number could possibly tell you eactly where it is located , as I do have over a hundred manuals for hitachi products , but anyways look on bottom edge of screen there should be five buttons one of these hould be labeled source , this is the button you want to press , it may take severl presses to get the input you like and the display will show in green what input its on

Can anyone help me figure out how to change the source/input.

You should have a button on the remote labeled "input or source". Every push on that button will cycle through different inputs. Some inputs do not show up on the screen unless something is actually hooked up to that port.

Why wont my hitachi remote RC1205 work on my TV, I've changed the batteries

If you changed the batteries and installed the replacement batteries correctly, the remote may have failed and will have to be replaced.

Where is the source button on a hitachi CLE-96o control

Click on the image to enlarge it.
Everyting in the RED square is your source buttons.
Depending on which selection you have it on ( Tv / DVD / SAT )
all of the buttons underneith will take you to a different input.
You will need to know which input you have each componet on.
I suspect you are asking about "source" button because thats the one that has your Cable/Dish input. Simply have to look on the back of the monitor/Tv to see which input you have it plugged into.

My Ultravision TV is now having horizontal lines. Do not know if it has a horizontal hold button hidden somewhere or is the TV going out? Can I fix it myself. Large screen

Can you try and see if it is your source that has the lines or the actuall TV that has the horizontal lines.
What is your source? Direct TV, Cable TV or even off air Digital TV.
If you remove your source do you still get the horizontal lines? If you do then what colors are they? Seems if when you remove your source input and you still have these H-lines then you have issues with your individual LCD palets. Especially if they are just Green, Red or Blue?

I have a rima dv1320p tv/dvd combo. How do I change the channel to the video 1 or video 2 input?

You actually don't change the"channel", you change the source of the image: from the tv to Video1 or Video2. For that al you need to do is to press the Source button on the case of the tv or the button on the remote. The button might also be called TV/AV or Input or have a square with an arrow pointing in it - depending on the version of the remote. The button cycles thru them so just keep pressing till you get the one you need.

What channel do i use to use the DVI entry?

None, channels are only on the tv source entry. The DVI is just another AV entry, to use it you just select it from the other AV sources.
