I have a Husqvarna Rose embroidery machine(605) that will display the next thread color, but not stop sewing. The stop button is not selected which causes continuous sewing.

SOURCE: Will a Husqvarna #1 Plus embroidery unit work on a Husqvarna Rose machine?

I am sorry to inform you that Husqvarna # 1 embroidery unit does not fit onto the Rose machine. The terminals on the Rose is upright, while on the H # 1 it is flat. If you want to do embroidery on the Rose, you will have to purchase the embroidery unit.

SOURCE: brothers pe150 embroidery machine will not sew

If you tighten up your needle thread, reduce the tension of the needle thread.
For embroidery, and zig-zag, and because the needle makes side movements, it needs more needle thread.
So try to keep you needle thread not very tight,
and tight up your bobbin case tension more, so that the two threads meet under the meterial.

Blinking bobbin on info display on Husqvarna Rose 600

Do you mean the symbol above the scissors on the infodisplay? If that is the blinking indicator, then the top thread has broken or the spool is empty. If the top thread continues to break, then the problem could be the age of the thread or the thread catching on a spot on the spool. (Thread degrades under most light. So the time it was on display at the store or sitting in your sewing area can be a factor.) Check the spool for rough spots. Make sure that the top thread is threaded correctly. Try a new needle; sometimes the eye of the needle can have sharp burs or edges. Check the top thread tension. Look at the hole in the stitch plate; if it is chipped or damaged, replace it. A damaged stitch plate can also cause breakage of the bobbin thread.

Husqvarna Viking has the manual for the Rose 600 on the machine support page: http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/support/ROSE-600 . The direct link to the manual is http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/SiteMedia/Products/Machines/Support/Rose_605_manual_EN.pdf . See page 10 a picture of the top thread icon. See page 56 for the trouble-shooting guide. A stand-alone trouble-shooting guide here is also available: http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/SiteMedia/Products/Machines/Support/Rose_605_Troubleshooting_EN.pdf . Husqvarna Viking uses same manual for the 600 and the 605.

I hope this helps.

After a few stitches my machine quits

The problem you are having is with the sensor on the top tension unit. There is a sensor that registers the movement of the spring which lets the machine know that it's sewing. When the spring either sticks or the sensor moves out of position because of vibration, the machine "thinks" that the top thread is broken. The machine needs to be taken apart and the top tension spring checked to see if it still has enough pressure to return to it's starting position, or to see if the sensor is in it's correct position. A trip to your service tech is required

Husqvarna Rose embroidery unit stopping mid picture.

Could be the design you're trying to stitch out is eroded. Try rewriting the design to the card and see if that helps. If not, take your machine along with the embroidery unit, peddle, hoops, etc. to your tech for a once over. It may just need an adjustment.

#1 Viking Embroidery #13 Set.

Turn machine off, install embroidery unit, card and button pad. Turn on the machine, press the "on" button on the keypad to turn on the embroidery unit. Select the design that you want to stitch using the keypad, thread the colors in order from the list in the book, change colors when the machine stops and prompts for the next color.
