Codes for Apex are 595, 618, 743, 744, 005, 006, 019, 020, 120, 745, and 757.

Codes for Sony tv are 500, 514, 578, 640, 670, 690, and 758.

If these dont work here is what is called a power scan. It will go through all the codes in the remote and find the right code for your tv.

1)hold down tv button next to sat button in top left corner
2) when all buttons illuminate press 500 into remote
3)press pound sign
4)Hello, please help..
5)hold town tv button again.
6)when all buttons illuminate press big red power button
7)press up arrow once a second until tv shuts off
8)press # pound sign
9)try to turn tv back on w/ big red power button
10)if tv doesnt turn back on try again from step 2 but use down arrow instead

To set up caller id you have to enable it on the receiver. Press menu 6-1-2, highlight enable and press select. Highlight done and press select. Press 0 three times. Try calling yourself with a cell phone to see if it works, if not, repost on this thread.

SOURCE: no antenna tv signal

Your dish remote should be set to the code for your TV. Then you will be able to control the channel number, not just up/down, as well as volume and maybe even the input. But do try to get a real remote for your TV so you can get to its menus.
Meanwhile, use menu+menu to see the channel being output by the Dish receiver. (Must be a 622/722... based on the 60 you listed.) Try to find an unused UHF channel number that your set does have in its up/down list. Match Air/Cable setting of Dish and TV. The Dish output is analog (NTSC) although the tuner(s) only accept digital (ATSC).

I will assume this is a direct connect from the wall plate to the TV. With that said you need to run a scan on the set to lock in the channel the second TV is modulated to either 60 air or 73 cable usually. Go into the menu on the tv and select the auto channel search. Some sets scan both sides at once others require you to choose cable or off air. Once this is done you should find the signal.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Turn off and on, blue screen

Hi, I am sorry you are having a problem with your DISH video. A blue screen means you are on the correct channel or input on your TV. If you turn the Tv off and then back on, ehat channel ot input does it say it is on. You should be on channel 3 if at TV1 or 60 or 73 if at TV2. If the receiver is connected to the TV using the Red/ White/Yellow cables, then the TV needs to be set to a video input. If you any additional assistance, please email me directly. Thank you!

What channel does my tv need to be on? and what button do i press on my dish network remote to get me to the wii screen

Usually it depends on how you connected to the TV/satellite box- for instance, I have mine set on channel AUX 1 since I have connected my Wii to the TV using the component cables (the red yellow and white cables) to the port AUX 1. If you've hooked it to the Dish box, then it would be whichever accessory you connected is the channel to select in the dish system, but on the channel that your dish is hooked up (it's situational!)

Replaced a tv with a new this is controlled with remote # 2, get a no signal on the screen. This is a Sylvania model. Remote # 1 works fine.

Hi, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service here. The first trouble shooting step you are going to want to try is changing your channel on the new TV to 73 then if you still do not see a picture try channel 60. If you are still not seeing a picture you may need to change the options on your TV1 in the modulator set up screen. In order to change the options you will need to press the Menu button on TV1 then 6(system setup), 1(installation) and 5(modulator setup). Once you are in the modulator setup screen you will need to change the small purple dot from air to cable or cable to air depending on which spot it is already in on the TV2 out option. Once you have changed the position of purple dot you will see the channel number change from 60 to 73 or vice versa. After you have changed the number on TV2 out you will need to select done and cancel out of all the menus. Once you are finished you will need to go to your TV2 location and set the channel to whichever channel the modulator set up was set to, to see if there is now a picture. If none of these options are working for you, you may need to run a channel scan on your new TV. You might need to contact your TV manufacture so that they can walk you through the TV menus to run a channel scan. I hope you find this information useful and if you have any further questions please feel free to email me directly at Cheri.Torres@Dishnetwork.com.

Hi! I have just tuned in a new TV. However, the channel menu does not offer the numbers 3 to 8 including ITV< Chanels 4 & 5. What do I do now?

julietterobi

If this is a new TV, you could run an auto scan so the TV can find the channel it needs to get the satellite signal. What type cable is connected between the TV and receiver. For a coax cable, the TV would be on channel 3/4 (usually 3). For an RCA (yellow, white, red) cable, component (green, blue, red, white, red) cable, or HDMI, the TV would be on an Input setting. I hope this helps.

I am trying to connect an Insignia flat panel TV to my existing Dish satellite system. Dish satellite system is not HDMI. We have: cable from the wall (satellite) connected directly to the new TV (exactly...

Hi,

I really need to know the model number of your Insignia TV and which connections you are using between the Dish box and the TV to give you the correct answer. If you are connecting both cable and satellite, I believe it should be set-up as follows:

1. Connect cable feed to TV
2. Run auto channel scan on "cable" setting
3. Connect Dish box to TV and then try changing the "input" selection.

With the Dish box switched on to a channel number you know, try pressing the "INPUT" or "SOURCE" button on your Insignia TV remote repeatedly until you find the satellite feed. Once you have done so, you should be able to change satellite channels using the Dish remote.

If you need further assistance, please post back with the model number of your TV and details of the connections you are using on the back of the TV.

Regards,
BElectric
