The error indicates that you have not installed the imaging unit. If you have installed it already, uninstall and reinstall the imaging unit.
Open the front cover of your Samsung printer and locate the imaging unit, it will be present at the bottom, below the toner cartridges.
A small black plastic with copper terminals will be present at the front of the imaging unit.
Remove the Fuse Housing. A 200-ohm resistor and an option 50-ohm resistor will be available.
Remove the blown fuse resistor, if applicable. Else, replace the 56-ohm resistor.
Place the 56-ohm resistor on the 200-ohm resistor. Now, place the fuse housing back, power On the printer, after the reset process the red light will go out.
If the issue is not solved, make sure the new and the old resistors are having proper contact with each other.
Ensure you are using the correct value of the resistor.
Turn Off and On the printer. For Support Call our Toll-Free 1-866-293-9220

1, I have samsung C430W printer..I replace the transfer imaging unit but still it showing to replace it..how can I reset the page count of transfer imaging unit...please help...

2, Turn Off the Samsung C430W printer using its Power button or disconnect the power cord from the back of the device and also from the wall outlet. Else, turn Off the switch present near the socket. Wait for about a minute. Replug the cord between the printer and the outlet. Power On the device and verify if the problem is solved.

3, To reset the page count, Click the Reset Fuser Life button and then choose the OK button, this resets the fuser. If the error is not rectified, the imaging unit has to be reinstalled or replace it with a new one again.

Samsung CLX-3160FN problem with faded black images/text only

Many of today's printers have a "toner save" option, which makes the black appear lighter, and I'm pretty sure this isn't your problem. However, I wanted to rule-out the obvious first, which is just a setting.
If you're seeing the black lighter in vertical "stripes" or segments in your printing, then it's most likely due to a dirty toner cartridge (but you said you replaced it), or cleaning the LSU inside the unit (as it says in the owners manual).
Just in case you don't have the manual handy, here's an online link to it:http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200611/20061122152910875_CLX-3160_English.pdf

I hope this helps!

If your printer prints like this,

My samsung clp-315w prints smudgy black lines

Cleaning my unit resulted in the solution of this problem. I removed the toner cartridges, the imaging unit, and the waste bin, opened the back door as well, and blew it out with "canned air". This will not solve all problems, but it is the right place to start. be careful to keep the imaging unit out of bright light when you you have it out of the printer.

Samsung clx-3160fn change image unit

Kindly take out the imaging unit out of the printer and take out and put it properly.

If this did not fix you may try using the imaging unit from other printer.
If this did not solve then visit a service center or buy its Imaging unit.

Faded stripe down the printed page

I found a solution that worked to eliminate the faded black stripe down the page thanks to a post by slamfix in another forum. The problem is related to ink build up on the blade edge of the black developer assembly in the imaging unit (the imaging unit contains 4 separate developers - yellow, blue, magenta, and black). The solution involves taking out the imaging unit, removing and cleaning the blade edge of the black ink developer until smooth. It took me about 15 minutes to complete and was fairly straightforward.

Is it a genuine Samsung Imaging Unit? The unit is not seeing it as such.
This is the # for it, CLP-R300A
