Question about Kenmore Washing Machines

Hi, does the door seat fully or is it just not latching when door is fully closed? Possible that door lock assembly is bad. Try manually releasing the door lock, then try closing the door again. If it still won't latch you'll probably need to replace the door lock assembly. Hope that helps.

Make sure the dial that you turn to start the dishwasher is all the way to the beginning. Sometimes my little grandson comes by and plays with it, turning it. I load, add soap and the dispenser won't close. I check the outside dial, and sure enough, set it to the very beginning and the dispenser locks in place!

The "latch keeper" has gotten out of alignment. You'll need to adjust it.
All you'll need is a phillips screwdriver to fix this. Open the door and look at the "latch keeper" (it's not on the door, but on the frame). It's the thing that the door lock/latch grabs on to when you try to lock the door. There are 2 screws holding it in place. Loosen these, pull the keeper toward you a bit and tighten the screws to lock it in. Now try your door.
This may take several attempts to get it just right, because you want the door closing tight enough so as not to allow a water leak and loose enough for you to close it easily.
If you have any questions, post back and I'll try to explain in better detail.

The following link explains how to access and replace the bellow one:
A replacement bellow (if required) can be purchased at any of the following web sites:
Prices vary between sites so shop and compare. The first three sites on the list, have helpful exploded view diagrams to assist you with locating and identifying any parts you may need.
NOTE: The manufacturer recommends that you leave the door OPEN between washes to, not only allow the bellow to keep from becoming permanently stretched, but also to allow the wash tub to breath to prevent mold and mildew from forming. This will extend the life of the bellow and minimize any odors in your washer.
If you have any questions, please post back with your complete MODEL NUMBER and let me know. I hope this helps you.
