This means a part has failed. There is a tech sheet inside (normally on the backside of the front panel) a repair guy uses Troubleshooting The dishwasher and reading flash codes. he will then test that part and confirm its bad and replace. Is capable of signalling a number of faults through the simultaneous illumination of several indicator lights. You might be able to find this sheet online, but its copyright to keep people from hurting themselves or causing a fire or something. Call a repair guy, he will come out, tell you what's wrong and a price...charge you $65 for the trip. he will; deduct that 65 if you wanna fix it. Avg cost to repair about $185 usd. worth it. The largest and best people who do that is sears..1-800-4my-home.

SOURCE: Wash motor does not run: Inlet/Drain error

Wordhog: Does sound like a siezed wash pump to me. Wash motor needs to run to get the correct level of water.

To drain a Miele dishwasher, start the machine on a cycle. All the Miele range of dishwashers drain before filling. Then hold in the start button until the end/finish light is lit. Keep doing this until all the water has gone. You could just get a jug and bail it out. Once the jug does not do the job anymore, switch to a cup, I use a very large syringe for the remaining half a litre.

SOURCE: kenmore dishwasher has stopped draining.

remove the kick panel below the door, place a pan, etc under where the drain hose connects to the drain extension tube, and slide the clamp back some so you can slide the hose off of the extension tube (white plastic tube) and drain any excess fluid into the aforementioned pan, etc., then unscrew the extension tube and check for plugs, or restrictions.
the sump may also be pluged beneath the strainer assembly, and that requires removing the lower spray arm, the water tube that runs up the inside back of the unit, and the upper parts of the assembly below them to access the drain/pump sump area.
last but not least the impeller is jamed and might be able to be freed by removing whatever has lodged within there..
ya never know...
best of luck,
ttfn

The outlet pump is triggered by the anti flood micro switch via the polystyreene float on the base of the washer. If any water for whatever reason (leaky pipe)is on the floor the machiene automatically switches to pump out mode and only works once the water and the cause is rectified

Hi. The above machine stops mid cycle and drain/fill light is on, also error code F3E, have cleaned both hot and cold water inlet filters, also checked drain pump and drain line, all ok. Machine drains with no issues and fills with hot water, runs for a while then shuts down.
Any ideas?

Dishwasher does not drain

Check the inlet to the pump for blockage, make sure that the outlet pipe is not kinked, that there is nothing obstructing the pipe and that the pump is actually operating. Check the selector valve inlet to see if it is not clogged or obstructed. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine again before using it again.

Possible that there are no outputs from the program controller unit and so you will need to check with a multimeter the voltage to the inlet valve/motor while the washer starts. If there is no supply then the controller is faulty , if not check the inlet valve and the pumps for fault.
Make sure that the door switch is working as unless the switch latches the program controller will not work- safety feature.
