Yes it can be fixed but you will need a service technician. You can call Sears service.

SOURCE: My subZero Model 245 Icemaker stopped making ice

Ice maker, I don't know where you can find the manual but I'll give you a few ideas of what to look for. First make sure that the inlet tube is not frozen over. Next, look at the center gear on the module and see if the clips in the center are not broken. If so you will have to replace the module. The ejector blades should be at the 2:00 position when home. If you get a jumper wire and jump T to H, this will by pass the bi-metal and run a cycle. The ice maker should fill at around the 12:00 position. Test points L & N will verify if you have 120v to the ice-maker. Test points L & H will test the resistance of the heater, 72 ohms. plus or minus 10%. Hope this gets you going, back.

SOURCE: icemaker slow to make ice

Tener, sounds like you have a module going bad. Pull off the white cover of the ice maker and take a look at the center white gear. There should be two clips securing the gear on. A lot of times these clips break and cause the gear not to rotate properly. Part number for the module is 628399. Take a look at this first. back

SOURCE: E1 error on LG dishwasher

As per my email reply chazmano5, the problem is likely to be the water pump/motor assy.

They have a very common fault of the impeller breaking on the motor shaft. The motor still spins, but the impeller doesn't, so there is no water being pumped.

The machine senses there is no water pressure and shuts down, displaying E1 (eg: it thinks no water pressure means there must be a water leak) Unfortunately the motor/impeller is only available as a complete assembly.

Just recently, the ice maker stop dumping the ice cubes from the tray into the bin.

I believe the "tray" is supposed to get heated at end to let the ice release. Faulty "heater connection?" May need repairman diagnostic.

I have an LG french door bottom freezer refrigerator. Water is coming out of the back freezer vents and then pooling and freezing on the freezer floor. If we don't remove it periodically it leaks onto the...

This has nothing to do with the ice maker. The defrost drain has frozen over. Inside the freezer you will see that the whole back is a panel. Unplug the unit and gently pry at the top of this panel. It will come forward and then you can lift it out. unplug the fans and take the panel out. You will see the coils. and underneath the coils, the drain pan. Mine was completely filled with ice. I used a hair dryer to melt it and remove the large chunks. Be gentle. Use a turkey baster to remove excess water. Then pour some very hot water in to clear the drain itself.

Ice maker water keeps running

Have someone unplug the wire connection to the=> W10408179 Water Inlet Valve

and if the water control valve continues to allow water into ice maker even after the plug is disconnected to the water control valve you will need to replace. I do not believe that the problem of the water control valve is related to something wrong with the ice maker. Most times the problem is the W10408179 Water Inlet Valve after it comes on to fill ice maker. The valve simply sticks open mechanically. I will be here should you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

If your refrigerator model number is not ED5LHAXW
please let me know so I can look up the correct part number.

No water no ice

Change the=> 67006531 Water Inlet Valve I believe the side of your 67006531 Water Inlet Valve that controls water flow to the ice maker has weakened and cannot open properly. Replace the water valves and I believe the ice maker will work fine, Sea Breeze

Freezing ice maker water tube

I believe the problem you are having is a simple fix. What I think is happening is that even when the water is off to the ice maker the dual water control valve that feeds water to ice maker is not sealing or closing all the way.So a little water is leaking when off just enough to allow the water to slowly freeze blocking the fill tube and sometimes to the point that when the water does come on it goes everywhere but the ice maker making a big icy mess. The only fix is to replace the dual water control valve part number Click here=> WR57X10032 and click here=> PSC23SGRBSS GE Water Valve Location will be photo #800 in picture. 864-487-4851 If need you may contact me here on Fixya or my Forum=> Appliance 911 My contact information is located above the Fixya Ad on my blog here=> Sea Breeze Appliance Parts and Technical Services,

Water stopped working, ice working on door

Have you changed your filter? Make sure to change these every 6 months, I believe. Also, if your filter is new/ or within the 6 months, you may have a water valve issue. You'll need to replace the water valve, which is on the back of the unit, towards the bottom, behind the panel. You can remove the panel, its all Phillip screws.

Leaking water in icemaker. water from icemaker leaks into freezer and freezes on freezer wall

If you are sure that it's coming from the ice maker I believe that you possibly have a leaking water control valve on the side for the ice maker on the rear of refrigerator near floor there is a dual water valve control. Many times when this happens the water will freeze in the fill tube that fills the ice maker in the rear of freezer. You can defrost the frozen water in the fill tube with a hair dryer but that will not stop the problem from coming back. When that happens water tends to at times go everywhere but the ice maker. You can test the water control valve several ways. By unplugging the side to the ice maker and if water continues to flow slowly to the ice maker then the dual water control valve will need replaced, Sea Breeze
