SOURCE: Paper Jam

The fuser unit has a pape sensor. If, for some reason, the sensor is stuck, the printer will read a paper jam. Open the rear door and inspect the paper sensor located in the fuser assembly. See if it came out of it's original position or if there is something blocking it from moving freely. Good luck.

I keep getting paper jam and load letter paper on my C544dn but yther eis no paper jam and there is a good amount of paper in the printer.

Take a look DEEP inside your printer. Sometimes all it takes is a tiny piece of paper to indicate a jam. Remove your printer cartridge(s), pull out your paper tray, open covers, etc. It is in there somewhere.

What does 200.04 jam error indicate?

Did you look the jam code up in the operators manual? might try going to the Lexmark web site and look up your model mite have a updated firmware that will fix that problem, also are you using paper that is authorized to be used with that machine? look up the spec in the op manual or web site, check the weight of the paper the paper draw rollers may be dirty clean with a small amount of soap and water.

Lexmark X4550 all-in-one Paper feeds only half way then jams

I'm not Lexmark certified; however, paper motion fails are generic in nature. Paper motion fail can be a bit difficult to diagnose at a distance...
* If it jams at every sheet then check to insure there is not a bit-o-paper stuck from a previous jam.
* If it has been an issue that has been increasingly getting worse than I'd replace the pick-up roller(s)
* Lexmark's support page for your printer is below. (You can also find a service prover too)
* Parts order for your printer is also below. You can determine at the support page if your comfortable replacing pick-up rollers in that model printer.

* Frequently people tear a jammed sheet when it comes out leaving pieces behind. BAD! When you get a torn sheet in your printer insure you retrieve all the pieces. Those left behind guarantee a jam on your next try.
* Paper jams not caused by debris in the path or worn pick-up roller(s) is beyond user maintenance.

Its an Error Related to a Paper Jam on the Paper Roll Tray!!!!!
Please Check the Inside of the Printer if there are any Bits of Paper which are stuck on it!!! That would cause this Error Message to Appear!!!!

Our lexmark c544dn has a paper jam but when I open the front cover I do not see one. What else should I do?

Pull back the fuser cover ( black upper area) and look for the jam beneath the black roller with paper sticking up - to pull it out

I have an error code E000007-0000 after a paper jam in my Canon ir3300. I wish to get a solution on this

these error stands for problem with the reading of fixing film in fixing assy.
If you had a paper jam, its possible that piece of paper stuck-ed on reading path of sensor or the fixing film is worn out and it needs to be changed.
To check for paper leftovers, open the left side way door and check the fixing unit for leftovers of paper.

Hope that helps!

Our Sharp ARC150 seems to have a static problem. It keeps misfeeding and when I open it up to get the paper out it's always at the same place where the paper is stuck to the roll of film that moves it....

In a copier static is usually a good thing. The "roll of film" you are refering to is the transfer should be static !! and not cleaned with anti-static cleaner. The belt uses the static to hold the paper in place and transport it. Putting any type of solution on the belt will probably damage it and cause further issues - especially copy quality.
It could be that the belt is not moving at the correct speed due to maybe 1)worn/broken drive gears 2)drag caused by the cleaning blade. Or there could be a sensor that is miss-reading the timing of the paper reaching a certain point and then causes a jam. Is the paper in the trays set correctly to match the paper sizes and orientation it shows on the screen? Does it give you a jam code on the display? Does it jam from all the paper trays?

Printer problem

even a very small piece of paper (A small piece torn off a jammed sheet) can cause the sensor arm to stick in place giving a false paper jam. Double check the entire paper path (what is visible) using a flashlight.
Also, check for broken "flag" sensors. Basically a flag sensor is a small piece of plastic that is pushed out of the way when the paper is traveling through the unit. If one of these flags is broken it may display a paper jam error as well (The flag after paper travels through will drop back into the paper path.) If this is broken it will not trigger the sensor and thus the error condition exists..
Most likely you have a small piece of paper stuck inside the paper path somewhere.
Do not, I repeat do not use any sharp or pointed metal objects to remove any small paper from within the fuser unit, the fuser covers are very delicate and such poking and prodding will likely damage the fuser covers, causing bad print quality or drastically decrease the fuser life (a small tear will quickly render the fuser useless).
Hope this helps!

Paper is getting jammed hence not printing

Sounds like somthing is caught in the left hand side try looking in it with a flashlight and see if you can see somthing stuck like a twistie tie/sticky label/ staple / sticky tape.... If its in far try using a ruler or a few pieces of paper stacked together to dislodge it.
