Look for some type of sealant let it cure and then try again- it may not be worth it

Unfortunately, 15 years is about the life span on most refrigerator systems these days. It's the weld joints in the cooling system that break down over time and eventually all the refrigerant leaks out. If you find the leak and fix it, you will likely have another one in a short period of time.

Check the thermostat setting; it may be set too high. If lowering the setting does not solve the problem, replace the thermostat.
P.S. The thermostat is what controls the temperature.
