Question about Ovens
Hi Offir,sounds like the lock motor has just died. Doesn't happen often but problems like that pop up now and then. There could also be other problems causing the lock to not operate,overstressed door hinges pulling the door against the lock hook or a bad over temp thermostat that is stuck open,not allowing power back to the lock motor to open. Definitely suggest getting a service tech out to look at it. Hope that helps.

If the fan is working o/k, then it is probably the oven element that is faulty, usually located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cov er.
