Can't answer your question without a more clear explanation. Apparently, you are talking about your entire wheel, not just the rim. The gear cluster in the rear is called a cassette, though the rotating bearing is called a freehub (one word). You need to explain what you mean by it "locks". Can you not pedal forward or can you not spin the pedals backward? It's important to place the chain on the correct cog when installing the wheel. Usually best to place the rear gear lever in the highest gear (smallest rear cog) when removing and installing the wheel.

Is there an online place to buy a back tire rim for 26 iinch Meridian trike-No luck at bike shops

try another bike shop, sounds like they don't want to deal with it. "riding on the rim" generally shouldn't affect the hub and bearings, at most the rim can be relaced. Although to have a competent wheel builder do this may end up costing more than replacing the wheel. A good mechanic should be able to use a regular 26" wheel and replace the axle with your canti-lever axle to get it to fit on the trike (I say that without looking at it, so I'm just making an assumption here).

Rear wheel wobbely

Not enough info here. Is it the rim or the hub that is wobbly? If the rim is out of true (and not actually bent) the spokes can be tightened to bring it back into true. If the hub is loose then the bearings need to be adjusted. Either adjustment can be done by your local bike shop for $10-20. A broken spoke can also make the wheel go out of true, this will cost a little more to fix.

Where can i order a 26 inch rim for my schwinn meridian tricycle, since it's badly wobbling from 6 broken spokes?

I just put my Maridian together and two days later hit a small pothole on the left rear doing about 15mph so I called Schwinn and they replaced the wheel with no hassle. They have mnfg standards and a lifetime warranty...

Front wheel woobles

Is the axle loose in the frame (quick release improperly installed); the axle loose in the wheel (hub bearings shot); or the spokes all loose or the rim untrue?

We have limitations to diagose physical problems.

Web searches for any or all of those malfunctions will lead to answers. Bike Shops will find/fix the latter two for you.

If you want only the rim who would assemble it for you? At this level of bicycle it's usually cheaper to buy a wheel than to buy a rim and have a shop swap it over.

Look at the disc itself and count the bolts holding it on. You want to order or locate a 26-inch disc wheel with a hub that matches the disc rotor you have because you'll be transferring it to the new wheel.

You probably also would want it to match cosmetically. Then look closely at the rear wheel and assess what brand (or at least what color) the hub and rim are.

A quick search of eBay for generic "26" disc front wheel" 's brings up 37 of them starting at $45 including shipping. OR you could drag the Bike or just the bad wheel to a real Bicycle Shop and let experts take care of everything.

I eed to replace both rear rims for my 26" schwinn meridian trike. I have had no luck finding source. Also, i would like to find an inexpensive battery powered drive for the sae trike

If your hubs are good, a good bike shop should be able to rebuild the wheels with new rims and spokes. This probably will cost more than a similar sized wheel for a 2 wheel bike.

REAR BRAKE

If I remember correctly there should be holes in the hub with set screws to tighten the hub to the axle. The ones I built had square headed bolts. The reason is that the hub can be moved from side to side to better adjust how the chain lines up for shifting. If there are no bolts or set screws but the holes are there you can take the hub to a fastener place to obtain some. Hope this helps.
