SOURCE: re sent wire diagram gat all messed up

Hi
have we spoke before in previous post?
the red can go to any 12v live peramanent such as wire to clock or other item that has power with ignition off and the same with the yellow if your putting these to the same permanent live say from clock you can join these to together red/yellow to red on clock
the black can go to any metal or neg wire.
This should then have your device working the only problem im looking at for you now is the pink wire as this stops you using the device whilst driving as it goes to handbrake but i need to find out if its live or negative.
You could just wire the red/yellow to live and black to earth then see if it switches on and works if not then let me know and ill see about the pink wire ok
Makes sure you use inline fuses on the live wires so as not to short the device out.
Make sure you know what is permanent live to put the yellow/red wire to.
It doesnt need to be ignition it only says this so you cant use it with ignition off but you can wire it into any live feed from clock or switches so its up to you what to wire it to its just the pink wire im concerned about.

PINK: does it tell you to put it to live or earth on handbrake switch?

let me know ok

SOURCE: STARTER MOTOR WIRING

The wires with the large loops go on the big terminal. The purple wire likely is the one with the smaller loop that goes on the right terminal (facing the solenoid). That is ith trigger wire from the ignition key.Do not permit the wires from either terminals to touch.

Hooking up a supco 3n1 in a samsung rs2530bbp?

I would avoid even using this device. there is a good possibility it will burn out your compressor. Most compressors have a run capacitor tat improves the power use and if it is not in the circuit the compressor can be damaged. I advise using the correct start device for this unit.

How to wire in new hard start

It's very simple to install a 3N1 Supco Hard Start Relay, Some refrigerators have a run capacitor located on compressor or mounted nearby. It will be important that you use the run capacitor in with the 3N1 Hard Start. Here is a Photo of the=> URCO810_3_N_1

The instructions come with the 3N1 Hard Start Relay. Can you please post the model number of your refrigerator here so I can look up a wiring diagram? Look around the fresh food section door frame for your model number. I do need to know so we can get the right run capacitor in the 3N1 hard start circuit, Thanks Sea Breeze

Try a Supco 3n1 start kit. If that doesn't do it then the compressor is done. Call the man, or woman.

Supco wiring an old freezer. Orange wire?

Was the orange wire on a switched live on the old compressor connections? It may come on when the compressor goes off in that case. If not, recheck the schematic for the other end of the heater. If it has a neutral, join the orange to the live feed to the supco. If it has a live, leave the orange on the neutral of the supco.

Please identify compressor connections. Original = red to low, white to high left, nothing on high right. New 3n1 has black (common) and red (run) white (start) and twin black power lines.

The three compressor pins are shaped in a triangle, the common is either directly on the top or directly on the bottom depending on the compressor. The wires of the supco are installed with the red to run, the white to start, and the black to common.(If the common is directly on top, run is lower right and start terminal is lower left) (If the common pin is directly on the bottom, the run is on the upper left, and the start is on the upper right) When you cut out the bad relay overload, the wires hook on the two black wires of the supco with bare ends.

Check for full 120 volts at the outlet, important.
If you have a meter you can ohm out the compressor windings, the run and start are connected to the common. It is easier to explain looking at a picture, so good luck.......... Picture a triangle with three letters c for common, r for run, and s for start........

The other thing to remember is there is a new type of compressor(some variable speed new one I am unfamiliar with) that does not use this setup, check the schematic(95% will) Consider if you still have a warranty on the compressor also. Supco also sells a 3n1 with a hook up for the old capacitor on its part, very handy, just plugs on, you do not mention it, so probably not the one you have. If you get your compressor running and it sounds good, do not buy a fridge full of groceries for a week or so, compressor may fail, let it run for a few days first, hope this helps,
good luck and do not forget to unplug when working on it..........

This is basically general information for a older refrigerator out of warranty....
Also consider the possibility of what could go wrong if you are not sure of your work, do not attempt this if there is a strong burn mark from old electrical s, replace compressor and or buy a new unit.

I've got a no start 1984 jeep cj7 that when I try to start will only give me spark at initial start and when I release the key to the on position. I've istalled a new ignition control mod. and a dist....

sounds to me like the ignition failed. If the car will run in the crank position which can be verified by holding the key while someone pulls the wire off on the starter while still cranking,, then the ignition failed.
You could go to alldata or mitchell online and pay for all the same diagnostic procedures we have. Its really your best bet on something like this. At least you will have year subscription.

I have a GE side by side refrig. I want to install a 3n1 start capacitor. The instructions with the product are quite clear on wiring to the run capacitor and the compressor but offer no help on how to...

The answer is to take the orange wire from the run capacitor and the orange wire from the relay and twist them together and attach to one of the line wires. Attach the other line wire to the black wire that was previously the ground on the compressor. I asked this question and have since found the answer. I am putting it out there because I saw where others have asked the same thing. God bless !
