Question about Pioneer Car Audio & Video
Hello Bishaw motors hs,
Sadly, this unit is made for Japan ONLY. The FM frequencies are not compatible and neither is the map or GPS. There is also no way to change to English. Carrozzeria does a poor job of informing customers of this problem.
The radio is superior to many but completely useless outside of Japan. You will want to send it back to them.
PS: I have not verified if this works but it is worth it to try.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

You borrow a smartphone with Google Translate on it, set it to Japanese, and turn on the camera feature and point at the stereo screen. Then you look for Settings - Language.
