SOURCE: LG KG800 charging problem.

Hi Robert, actually its LG and the batteries are the worst - i did the same thing with my brand new shine! You need to be careful when you start a new battery - make sure you drain it 100%, then charge for 6-8hrs, then drain 100% then recharge - after that you are good.
a new chocolate battery goes for $25-40

thanks

SOURCE: old phone quit and blue tooth won't pair with new phone

Hold the volume buttons on the side while holding the call button for 10 seconds. It will reset the bluetooth and remove any other devices it may have been paired to. Then turn it off, back on and it will eventually stay lit blue and then you need to set it up through your phone. I hope this helps, I had the same problem and mine is working fine!

Usually----- if you get absolutely nothing- you have a bad connection where the ground is connected to the frame or where the main (+) side is connected to the starter or the main fuse block.

It doesn't seem to keep the charge. does that mean I need a new charger or a new headset?

Sounds like the battery is not holding its charge.......you can rejuvenate the battery by fully charging and then fully draining til it goes off either by leaving on or using! Doing this a few times will allow the battery to fully charge and hold the charge better!

I have the Sony PS3 Pulse Wireless Headset: Elite Edition, and when I try to turn it on, there is no light that turns on, indicating it isn't charging. When i turn it off, a blue light appears for two...

Could be a battery reset. Best to try before you end up buying a new Headset. Watch this video - As simple as this seems.
How to fix Sony pulse elite headset
This could be your fix. This is similar to resetting a router.
You're told to unplug it and wait 30+ seconds. Could also be your charging connection or the battery itself. Battery model is on the sticker and could be worth trying.. If the battery is cheap.

I have a h700 bluethooth and dont have a manual. what color should the light be when connecting to the phone, in use, and charging.

The indicator turns red when charging and turns green when fully charged. The headset will flash in purple when it is in discovery mode (mode where it is looking for a device to be paired with it). If it has already been paired with a device it is blue and then flashes blue when it is paired. The link for the manual is below. http://www.motorola.com/mdirect/manuals/QG-H700_9499A88O.pdf

Im trying to hook up my mad catz bluetooth to my ps3 and i got it pass the scan part but it keeps saying theres a problem...PLEASE HELP

Is your PS3 seeing the Headset?
Is the headset in pairing mode?

Complete details below on how to connect it:
Pairing the Headset with the PS3

Before the Headset can be used with the PS3, the two devices must be 'paired' so they can communicate with each other. Use a gaming controller for this procedure and ensure that the Headset is powered on (flashing blue LED light) and that it is not being charged via USB cable.

1. Power on your PS3 console.

2. Within the "Settings" menu, press X on "Accessory Settings."

3. Press X on the icon labeled: "Manage Bluetooth® Devices."

4. Scroll down and press X on the icon labeled: "Register New Device."

IMPORTANT: Depending on your model of the 8860 Bluetooth® Headset, your power button is either an oval shape with an icon of a circle with a line going through it (5a) or it is a button with a phone icon (5b). Please follow the appropriate next step depending on your model of the 8860.

5a. Once at the next screen, prepare the Headset to be paired with the PS3 by holding down the K1 button until the LED flashes Blue and Red (hold K1 approx 12 seconds).

5b. Once at the next screen, prepare the Headset to be paired with the PS3 by tapping the pairing button located next to the volume controls on the side until the LED flashes BOTH Blue and Red.

6. Once the Headset's LED indicator is alternately flashing Blue and Red (indicating the Headset is ready to be paired), press X on "Start Scanning."

7. Once Scan is complete, the PS3 will recognize all Bluetooth devices within range.

8. Locate "8860" from the list of available devices and press X on its icon to be prompted for a Pass Key

9. Enter 0000 (four zeros) as the Pass Key and press X on OK

10. You should then be taken to a new screen stating: "Register completed"

.

Trouble Shooting

Q. The PS3 is unable find the Headset.
A. If the Headset has been paired with another Bluetooth device, the PS3 will have trouble finding the Headset. Either remove the Headset from the paired device or turn off the Bluetooth power on the paired device.

Q. The Headset cannot be activated after being charged for 20 minutes.
A. To activate the Headset, the battery needs to charge for at least 40 minutes. It is highly recommended to fully charge the battery before use.

Q. No indication of charging is shown.
A. If the Headset battery is empty or has not been used for a long time, it may take some time for the Headset LED indicator to show charging status with a steady Red light. Make sure the PLAYSTATION 3 is turned on. The 8860 cannot charge without the console being turned on.

Q. No sound can be heard from the Headset.
A. Please make sure of the following:

-Make sure that the two devices have been paired.
-Make sure that the Headset is turned on.
-Make sure that the two paired devices are within 30 Ft. (9.15 meters) of each other.

*** Do not try to pair the headset to the PLAYSTATION 3 when the headset is attached to the USB cable. If it is attached to the USB cable when trying to pair up, it won't pair with the PLAYSTATION 3. ***

I can't et my H700 to work on my iphone? Will it pair up with it?

First check what type of phone you have then under the bluetooth options make sure that your bluetooth is enabled. Then after make sure that the bluetooth has been fully charged. If you hold down the power button (the only blue big button) on the bluetooth for at least 3-5 seconds it should glow red and blue or turn purple, let go and it should be ready for pairing. Then go back to your phone under the bluetooth options and make sure that your phone is discoverable and that your phone is searching for the phone. The default code is 0000.

The following procedure will re-establish the communication link between the Headphones and the Wireless adapter, this is called "pairing". Before you start please make sure both the headphones and the wireless adapter are fully charged and turned off.
Note: The headphones and the wireless adapter come pre-paired from the factory.
1. Press and hold the power button on the headphones. See Figure 1.
headphone.jpg
Figure 1

2. Continue to hold the button down until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an alternating pattern. Release the button when the LED starts flashing red/blue. See Figure 2.

Figure 2
3. Once the headphones LED is flashing red/blue, press and hold the power button on the wireless adapter. See Figure 3.

Figure 3
4. Hold down the button until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an alternating patter. The LED will blink blue, then turn off for a few seconds then blink red/blue. Release the button when the LED starts flashing red/blue. See Figure 4.
receiver-flash.gif
Figure 4
5. Once both the headphones LED and the adapter LED is blinking red/blue, press the volume up button once on the headphones. See Figure 5.
headphone-volumeup.jpg
Figure 5
Once the headphones is paired with the adapter, the LED on the headphones will blink blue once every two seconds. See Figure 6.
headphone-flash2.gif
Figure 6
When the adapter is paired the LED will be solid blue. See Figure 7.
receiversolid.jpg
Figure 7
The adapter may continue to blink red/blue for a few seconds even after the headphones LED starting blinking blue. This is normal; the adapter may take a few additional seconds before the LED turn solid blue.
Once the headphones and the adapter are paired, it is not necessary to pair them again even if the batteries on both units are completely drained.
Additional Note: Repeated pairing will not improve the sound quality or give the headphones and the adapter a cleaner connection.

Motorola H500 Wireless Headset Pairing Problem

If you turned it on and it was steady blue most likely you held the call button too long. The steady blue means it's ready to pair with a phone. Try repairing again and if you still don't hear anything, play with the volume buttons to the top and buttom of the headset the volume may be down. If that doesn't help I don't know what will.
