What living thing can live in an air mattress .my pets and my self hear them and feel them what can I do . they are driving me crazy and my cat and dog

I'm gonna guess this is some sort of bug. By "in" your air mattress, you mean like inside it? maybe you can try deflating the mattress one day and flushing it out

How to clean a mattress

On daily basis humans shed skin cells. Along with these skin cells we also shed millions of bacteria. These bacteria can easily infiltrate your sheets and mattress cover making it vital that you have a regular mattress cleaning routine/schedule. Many mattresses come with tags that indicate what types of cleaning products are best suited for that particular mattress. If your mattress indicates that it is ok, try using natural, organic cleansers. Here are a few basic cleaning tips that should help keep your mattress in great condition:

When it comes time to flip your mattress (every 6-8 weeks) take some time to vacuum both sides

Accidents happen. Children/pets may leave an unwanted stain on your mattress. They can be removed by first blotting excess wetness from the area, followed by lightly spraying the region with an enzymatic cleanser, then blotting the area once more. I recommend following this up with some baking soda - sprinkle some on the affected area to help eliminate persistent odors and to absorb residual moisture

Wash your sheets, blankets and pillows regularly

Use a dust mite cover to protect your mattress

Which type of mattresses are good for fullness, softness and within your budget?

Best advice I can give you for mattresses, it work out your budget and then add 50% and work out how to pay for it. Test all the beds in a good mattress shop. I favour Relyon, by appointment to the Queen of England. I bought one for 850 GBP in 1987 and it was still as good as new 15 years later and best nights sleep I have ever had. I wish I brought it to Canada with me!

Hood latch on 2005 Hyundai Sonata won't release

Have someone push down on the hood over the hood latch area while you pull the release, that may work. Once it is open lube everything up with white Lithium grease also known as "LUBRIPLATE:"

I have a bad back. What type of mattress is good for me to use?

Often back pain feels worse after a night's sleep. But it's not so much the mattress that causes it as sudden movements and twisting while in bed. There is no such thing as one type of mattress that is good for backs. Everyone varies on the type that they like. Just lay down in the shop and make sure it's not too hard or too soft.

I'm pregnant. Will my mattress be ok or do I need to get something different?

Most people cannot afford to buy a new mattress when they get pregnant. I suggest buying yourself a mattress topper; which will give you an added layer of comfort. I would recommend a memory foam topper so that it can mold to your body no matter what position you sleep.

Dont know how to remove the bedding from the bassinet to wash

Which part of the bedding is soiled and needs to be washed?

There should be a flat sheet that covers the mattress pad, an optional top sheet, a comforter, a dust ruffle, pillow sham and a decorative cover for the hooded area.

Remove the comforter & top sheet & set them aside. Pick up the mattress inside the bassinet, remove the flat sheet on it and put that with the other items to wash. Leave the mattress pad out, and you should be able to see the dust ruffle. The dust ruffle goes under the mattress pad and hangs like a skirt on the bottom of the bassinet. Pick up the dust ruffle and untie any ribbons that might be used to anchor it on the sides or bottom area. Depending on the bedding set you bought or are using with the bassinett, the piece that goes around the hood area might have elastic to keep it snug, or if you are using the default that came the model that is sold in California, US - its not really removeable without a lot of trouble and other problems - (I would suggest leaving it on unless its REALLY soiled).

Good luck!

I cannot find a manual for a blue magic super pump

See the instructions near the bottom of this web page: (picture at the top of pasted instuctions on th link)

http://www.abcwaterbed.com/pump2.htm

  1. IMPORTANT! - Unplug waterbed heater for safety
  2. Remove cap and seal and put aside in safe place.
  3. Remove any excess air from mattress - slide forearm or broom handle from the head of the bed toward the fill hole to move air pocket
  4. Attach the heavy duty hose to the hose valve coupling, connect to the waterbed mattress and other end to the pump intake side. Be sure to include O-rings. Gently push the coupling deep into the mattress.
  5. Attach garden hose to the discharge side of the pump, this hose goes to a tub, or a deep sink.
  6. Plug in the pump. When it starts it should have a low whirring sound, not a high whiny one. If water is not pumping immediately unplug the motor and check hose connections for tightness, verify there is no air in the mattress.
  7. As the pump removes the water, be sure the hose valve coupling at the mattress is pushed down in the mattress to maintain suction. Heavy phone books or other like items will help maintain proper position deep in the mattress.
  8. Keep pumping the water out and continuing to maintain the hose valve coupling position low in the mattress so it can keep pumping.
  9. Do not leave the pump or the area until finished. A dry pump can burn up.
  10. When the mattress is part way empty, you can place pillows under it at the head to help the water run downhill towards the hose valve coupling.
  11. Continue pumping until water flow stops or pump changes sound. The more water you get out, the easier your mattress will be to handle.
  12. If you are satisfied you have got as much water out as you can, remove the hose valve coupling and quickly replace the mattress seal and screw the cap on.
  13. If the mattress is to be stored for a period of time, pour in a large bottle of waterbed conditioner into the mattress before you cap and seal the mattress.
  14. We recommend rolling up the mattress from the head to the foot and carefully sliding one end into a wardrobe box. Another wardrobe box can be worked over the top of the mattress. Work one box into the other and seal both ends and tape the boxes together in the middle. You can now safely move the mattress.
  15. If you don't get enough water out, the fiber layers can easily slide out of position during moving and you may not be able to get them back into position when you fill the bed.
