Asea 1302 dishwasher blows fufe during rinse cycle

Hi Gordon

I would check the fuse closely.
Did it blow with splatter
or was it like a melted wire.

This is the difference between momentary overload
or dead short.

Replace the fuse with a slightly higher amp rating (say 5) to see if a dead short is happening.
Sometimes motors get loaded momentarily and draw slightly more than the fuse rating.

If it continues then the motor is drawing too much.
Eg. water in the windings or windings insulation breakdown.

Contact an electrician to do a current load with an AC Ammeter.
Or take it to a service agent.

Good Luck

All the lights are flashing on Asko 1805 dishwasher

Hi, You need to absorb the water in the overflow basen of the Asko dishwasher's and then push and hold a button to reset the error code...flashing LED's or turn the power off momentarily. You need to remove the lower kick plate and get to the basin with a wet-dry vacuum or sponge etc. Good luck. Let me know if I can assist you further. Thanks for visiting fixya and if you found this solution helpful please rate it accordingly. Macmarkus :)

My Asea 1502 Dishwasher gets most of the way through a cycle then stops with lights flashing. It is empty of water. What is the problem?

Further to my problem with my 19 year old ASKO ASEA D1502 Dishwasher .
I found a Use & Care Guide online at the ASKO site:
http://www.asko.com.au/downloads/manuals/
(It is an 8MB PDF, only 20 pages scanned)

The manual says flashing lights in the combo I had indicate heater fault.
Manual has good test procedure and I followed that and it showed that the Heater is OK.
Machine works through full cycle but flashes at the end.
It is an old machine so I suppose I just live with it unless anyone has any suggestions.

No reset. Carbon brushes are worrn out. Consider changing the bearings while you have the motor apart. Se http://www.nettoparts.co.uk/shop/frontpage.html for spares.
