Willie ,you are not kidding, just not explaining very well.there is no way a bolt from the chain bar could fall into the crank case. If you mean the outer casing of the whole chainsaw ,that is ok all you need to do is remove the outer case as if you were going to fit a new chain and it wll probably fall out if it has gone the other side take the recoil start off and it will then let me know please

Most all brands of chain saws will except one size smaller and one size bigger than what came with the saw. You just have to make sure the bolt holes and the hole for the adjustment pin match the origional bar.

I was putting a new chain on my 445 and the bolt that holds the bar on fell down inside the saw. How do I get it out?

You need to empty it out through the oil filler hole, drain the rest of the oil out, a tool with a magnet will aid puting it back through the the filler opening and back through the crankcase, as there is a square on the back take care to make sure it ligns up with the moulding on the inside of the crankcase.

I took off the bar on my huskie 350 and one of the bolts fell inside how do I find the bolt and replace it

The bar bolt should be an interference fit in the crankcase, if it has fallen out there is now a tollerence issue with the composit crankcsae, start by removing the oil tank filler cap, drain out the chain oil, now shake the machine until the bolt falls out of the filler opening, you now need to increase the diameter of the bolt where it fits into the crankcase or it will just fall out again, take a good centre punch and punch the shank of the bar bolt where it fits into the tank ( this will help to hold it tight in the crankcase ) now mark the threaded end of the bar bolt so as you know where top dead centre is ( you need to do this because the bolt has a square on the back which must fit into a squre socket on the inside of the oil tank ) there is a number of ways to re align it back into the bar pad, a magnet on a rod fed through the oil filler hole, or feed a lenght of thin wall tubing through the bar pad hole and out through the oil filler hole, push the bar bolt thread into the tubing, now pull it back through.Once the thread comes through use the bar nut and a spacer to pull it fully home, remember to get the top dead centre mark you did earlier at the top before pulling the bolt fully in, or the square on the back will not sit into its socket .

You do not tell us which model Poulan, that limits how much help we can provide. The head is probably in the oil tank.

Post 6 in this thread is quite good. I have seen a post that required repair of the casting (with photos) to repair. I was not able to find it.
Look closely at the old one, once removed, See if it has some sealer applied
The IPL for your saw can be found here:

The dash number of your serial number is the type.
If I can be of further help please reply below. HTH

Bolt broke that holds saftey seat latch on - where to get parts?

one of the best places my be a Automovtive supply stores , you may also try a Home improvement store, they tend to carry "odd" Bolts, to remove the broken bolt you may have to drill it out with a special drill tip also avaliable at most of the Home Improvent stores,, make sure you take your broken piece with you if you still have it so you can get a perfect match.

Alt fuse 2004 4runner

The fuse is bolted in to the power buss-bar in the fuse box. You have to remove the fuse box center section from the outer section (pull it up) to access the 8 or 10 millimeter bolts that holds it to the buss-bar. No other way to do it.

Passenger side doorwon't open from inside the car

What has happened is the poorly designed clip that holds the pull bar to the handle has snapped causing the bar to fall out. Take the interior panel off of the inside of the door, using 2 pairs of pliers twist the end of the bar around and simply insert it in the hole it fell out of, I have had to do this to all of my doors and, unless you slam the door really hard it will stay put.
