Question about Cobra 19 Ultra II CB Radio
Un-solder 1 leg of D11 diode, pull it out of the board, and make sure it does not short against anything.
That will bring your modulation up all the way. there are other adjustments that can be done, but without proper meters, you will most likely mess up the radio.
D11 will be a big step up any way.

I am not up todate on the Ultra II but most 19
are almost the same,on the Plus model adj.
RV501 some will have RV4 they are for
modulation,the plain 19 adj.VR501 the Classic
is VR4 so you see how much alike they are
100% modulation is all you can do to be in the
limit but I have seen 125% to150% out of some
