Question about Washing Machines
I don't know. check to see if cold water is availabe. shut off hot and cold supply taps. start washer to try to reduced pressure on rubber hoses. shut off washer and disconnect it from hydro. undo cold water rubber hose at the washer. point it into a pail or sink and slowly open supply tap to see if water flows freely. if no water, clean or replace both hoses as they deteriorate with age. if water
runs freely, i think you may have to replace the intake valve on the washer. they usually are easy to disconnect and replace.

Replace or clean your water inlet valve. It appears that the hot water solenoid has either become clogged, or had failed. You can find a replacement at repairclinic.com. Type in your COMPLETE model number in the Search window and there will be two of them located under the "Water Valve/Float" heading. Depending on WHICH type of valve you have, a replacement costs between $28 and $74. Refer to the part illustrations to make sure you are ordering the correct part. If you require assistance in accessing the inlet valve, let me know. I hope this helps you.
PS If you attempt to clean the valve, you will need to turn off the water supply and disconnect the hoses. Check the inlet screens for sediment or debris.

Sounds like motor is bad. See if you can find the 2 main wire leads on the motor and hook up directly to see if you can get it to work.

SOURCE: no cold water, only hot
The cold water inlet line is either clogged (it has a filter screen in it) or the cold-water solenoid valve is malfunctioning.
Remove cold water line, check for obstruction -- if no success, inspect electrical connections on solenoid valve (where the cold water line attaches to the back of the machine). If valve is getting current, take it apart and clean it. If that doesn't work, replace the solenoid valve.

If you checked the screens at the water inlet valve and they were not clogged, then you probably have a defective water inlet valve and will have to replace it. Hope this helped.
