Question about Electrical Supplies
When I went to do my monthly maintenance run on the generator, the electric start made a short noise when I first hit the switch, and no response after that. The engine did start with the pull starter. After it cooled back down I tried the electric start again with no response. I checked the battery, and it is fully charged (fairly new battery). Put my meter across the starter terminals, tried the starter switch and it showed no power. Is there anything else I should be checking before I replace the starter switch?

SOURCE: 1981 Corvette will not start
The neutral safety switch is located in the shifter housing.
Here is a link to a good article on this topic, that would beat an explanation from me.
Yes, it sounds like the NSS is the culprit.

SOURCE: Hard to start
You have all the symptoms of a low voltage condition in the battery, Kragen and other parts stores like it will test your battery and charging system (alternator) for free, but it is pretty safe to say the battery is toast. Don't reject this solution without the test being done, I think you will find I am right, low battery voltage can cause trouble codes to be set and low fuel pressure to name a few..

SOURCE: Hard to start warm engine
Sounds like you have a problem with your fuel injectors, either they are working to much or not enough once they get warm....
Take it to a shop ant tell them you want the injectors tested.
