I am having a problem getting my tax summary to pr - print-screen-deluxe-7.jpg The Windows Print Screen Key can be a powerful tool if you know how to use it to its full potential. There are some who initially think that when they press the Print Screen Key that it will literally be sent to the printer! That's okay, we've all been there, done that. Just don't tell anyone! Actually, if you are using DOS, it will be sent to the printer.
Print Screen/SysRq
The key may appear differently depending on the manufacturer of your Windows keyboard. The standard position would be at the upper right hand corner of your keyboard and may appear within this sequence of keys...
F9 F10 F11 F12 Print Screen Scroll Lock Pause/Break
The sole function of this key is to take a snapshot or picture of your computer screen and copy it to the clipboard (the clipboard is an invisible holding area for content that is copied). Its the same thing as if you copied something from a document and it is now on your clipboard waiting to be pasted in its final destination. Its that simple. As quoted by Webopedia...
Often abbreviated Prt Scr, the Print Screen key is a useful key supported on most PCs. In DOS, pressing the Print Screen key causes the computer to send whatever images and text are currently on the display screen to the printer. Some graphics programs and Windows, use the Print Screen key to obtain Screen Captures.
Now, how do you get to see those Screen Captures or maybe even send them to someone? The quickest and most effective method is to have a graphics editing program handy. If that is not an option, you can open your favorite word processing program and create a new document. Position your cursorflashing-cursor.gifat the beginning of the document or wherever you want the screenshot to appear.
Using your keyboard, press Ctrl + V which will Paste the screenshot in your open document. Now you can Save (Ctrl + S) the document to wherever you wish, make sure to name it appropriately so you can easily find it.
You can now send this file to anyone via email, use it in a presentation, create your own little book of screenshots showing how to perform a specific task, etc. The possibilities are endless.
We use the Windows Print Screen Key regularly. You probably will too once you get the hang of it!

In my s900 register is have set up 3 different tax rates state, county, city every thing seems to be running correctly.

why so many tax rates, usually one rate for your location unless you want to see the different taxes paid.. Not sure what the S900 is for a register, but most larger cash register has a report that would print that info out.

In a joint home loan, can both husband and wife avail for a tax investment? If yes, how?

By tax investment you mean tax benefits? If so, then you need to be a joint owner of the property, ownership percentage should be clearly mentioned or will be split equally, and you must be a co-borrower. The construction of the property must be complete. With the above three conditions fulfilled both of you can avail tax benefits on Joint Home Loan.

About how to do it

You will have to claim the benefits. You can claim it under Section 24 and 80C of the Income Tax Act. The interest that you have to pay against Home Loan is entitled for tax deductions by up to Rs. 2 Lakhs for the principal amount for both the individuals. On the interest part the tax rebate is up to Rs. 1.5 Lakhs per owner. The ratio of the ownership decides the division of tax exemption.

Fixed Deposit for Investment

As per my understanding, you have Rs. 20 lakhs, out of which you want to invest Rs. 70K in fixed deposit. In such situation, you may be concerned whether you will be taxed or not.

Let me assure you that you may not come under the bridge of TDS as the earned interest will not be high.
TDS is deducted from the interest of an FD, if the earned interest exceeds the limit of Rs. 10K in one year. But, your principal amount is Rs. 70K, which you may invest at an interest rate of 7.80%. This will turn out to be Rs. 75K at the end of one year. So, an earning of Rs. 5K will not be taxed.

Even if, you get a higher rate of interest on fixed deposit, fortunately, you will still remain under the TDS bracket. So, you can easily proceed with your investment plan.

How do i sererpate the differnt taxes i charge

In the SETUP options screen, choose tax rates. There you can setup three different tax rates and name them. EX: State Tax: 5%; County Tax: 2.5%; Local Tax: 1%. Then in inventory, choose what items get each tax applied. On customers receipt, each will print on a separate line after subtotal. On most reports, the taxes are totaled separately.

Trouble printing a thicker form

Hi,
I have come accross this problem on a number of sites. It may be the Paper Out sensor. It works by emitting light from one half of the sensor reflectiong it of the paer and picking it up with the other half of the sensor. When no paper is present, the light cannot reflect and hense a paper out error is reported. I have seen this error occur when paper with dark backing ( like that for bank and tax forms ) is used.
