Question about HP OfficeJet 6210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

The beeper on my HP Officejet 6210 All-in-one unit is on all the time on or off with power button. The only time the beeper stops is when it is unplugged from the wall outlet. I got an auto reply to try to reset the unit with # & 3 held down & power down unit to a partial reset. It did not work. I also did a reset with # & 6 held down with a power off & on attempt. Both of these resets did not work. The beeper is on all the time. I have install 2 new sets of black & color cartriges. The unit will print & scan. It works fine except for the stuck on beeper. The beeper is continuously on until the unit is unplugged from wall outlet.

I suspect that the Logic Control Board is shot. If the unit is 1 year old or less try:

In the U.S.A., warranty is offered by Sunbeam Products, Inc., located in Boca Raton,Florida 33431. 1.800.334.0759
In Canada, this warranty is offered by Sunbeam Corporation (Canada) Limited, located at 5975 Falbourne Street, Mississauga, Ontario L5R 3V8

To refresh, the beeper should sound once. The definition of the Beeper from the manual follows:
BEEPERFUNCTION
(1) When you plug the unit in, the beeper sounds once and " - - - "appears in the LCD.
(2) When you press one of the four menu buttons the beeper will sound one time.
(3) When you press the adjustable button, every time you press the button, the beeper
will sound once. If you press the button continually, the beeper only sounds one time.
(4) When you press the start button the beeper will sound once, and ":" will flash, that means
the unit is in operation. Once the unit has begun the cooking cycle, the menu selection,
time or temperature cannot be changed. The unit must be stopped and reset.
(5) When the unit is in operation, press the stop button, the beeper will sound once and the unit
will stop operation.
(6) At the end of pre-set time, the unit will sound a long beep to remind you the work is done.

Hi you can try this may work.

In service mode.
Put Stop/reset 4 times orange => reset waste ink.
Put stop/reset 8 times orange => set level ink.

And try this.

1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding
the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.

For me, it worked when I did this:
1) With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press and hold the Stop/Reset button for 4-5 seconds.
2) Without letting go of the Stop/Reset button, press and hold the Power button. Then, press the Stop/Reset button two times without letting go of the Power button.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

HP Officejet 6210 will print but with terrible clicking noise

Ok this Sounds Crazy but it worked for me and its easy to try. Unplug the unit and pick it up and turn it side ways and gently shake it. Sometimes a small piece of plastic has broken loose and is interfering with the works and if you can dislodge it from its current location it will stop. Be careful not to hurt youself doing it. Also, I have one printer with a missing tooth on one of the gears and has been growling at me for a long time.
Best of Luck,

Hp officejet 6210 won't print

Perform the following steps:

a) Turn the printer on.
b) Open the printer’s top cover.
c) After the print cartridges have moved to the center/home position of the printer, unplug the printer’s power cord from the electrical outlet.
d) Remove the print cartridges.
e) Using a dry, lint-free, clean cloth, wipe the print cartridge contacts, from the top to the bottom
f) The contacts inside the printer may also require cleaning. Using a dry, lint-free, clean cloth, gently wipe the contacts, from the top to the bottom
g) Plug the printer's power cord into the electrical outlet.

1. Verify that the unit is switched on. Unplug the all-in-one from power and disconnect the connection port.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Plug in the power only.
4. Repeat steps 2-4 two more times.
5. On the third time after plugging the unit into power, reconnect the connection port from the all-in-one to your computer.

Now, perform the following:

1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on and wait for 20 seconds.

2. Then, press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.

Continue holding until it displays Semi Full Reset message in the front panel of the All-in-One.
