What is the proper lubricant for meat slicers

No matter what type of oil we user on our slicer, it seems to gum up and makes slicing very hard. Is there a product that cleans or lubricates the guide and doesn't gum it up.

I am a chef and I used meat slicer it could save you a lot of trouble and energy and also is very helpful to have in your kitchen, that helps us slice through meat and cheese easily. But, need to proper maintenance for this device. Normally I used mineral oil for cleaning the blade it is the best oil I ever used. Just wipe the blade down with mineral oil. Also, vegetable based oils might work.

I have a very old Globe slicer. Black oil or grease is appearing across the front plate as I slice.

it is most likely an oil seal on the shaft behind the slicer blade
if it is then you will have to pull the seal and take it to a bearing and seal shop and have it matched up
remember that any lubrication used has to be in conformance with food production standards ( not car oil or grease)

Meat slicer: when slicing our pork loin the meat will stick up under the blade at the bottom causing the meat to spin off the slicer?

The blade may require cleaning in between usage as the oils and sugars are solidifying on the blade from previous usage causing the meats to adhere to the blade when sliced.

What kinds of kitchen slicers are there?

Kitchen slicers can be of different kinds.
There are the mandolines, flat, generic slicers that make thinner and thicker slices of most kinds of hard fruits and vegetables.
There are the more specific kinds, that cut specific foods into specific shapes, like egg slicers or banana slicers, or apple slicers, or slicers that peel the fruit and remove the pit, like for pineapples, cherries and mangos. Of these specific kind there are many variations. There are twisters, that make thin twists of vegetables, usually used for carrots. There are spiral peelers, like for apples or pineapples. There are dicers that split the fruit in precise chunks.
And then there are the electric slicers, that shred and slice your food into bigger or smaller chunks or slices, for example to make fries by slicing potatoes into long thin rectangular pieces within minutes and with no physical effort.
