I have a HP Laser Jet P3005. Change cartridge and now just printing out black pages. Put the old cartridge back in and it's fine.

Put the new one back in the printer. Try printing again. If pages are all black,
Take the new cartridge back where you got it and exchange it for another. It's a bad cartridge.
Good troubleshooting!

The printer make noise while it is printing

Hewlett Packard P3005 Fuser

Its all about the gears in the fuser drive assembly and the bushing in the fuser.

The HP P3005 fuser is located at the back of the printer.

The fuser has a thin film upper roller which can be torn, some symptons can be "Wrinkled Pages","Poor Fusing", "Toner Rubs Off the Page", "Pieces of black Plastic Come Out".

*** The printer should be unplugged from any power source before any servicing is performed ***

The rear cover can be taken off by removing 2 screws. Once the cover has been removed the fuser can be removed by taking out 4 screws and 3 electrical connections.

HP Laser Jet P3005 Printer is printing very slow

It is usually dirty and old fuser. It would takes longer time to heat up and also triggering error messages. Try changing that.
