Question about Kenmore HE2 Plus Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Panel is switching back between 6 and F at the end of the cylce

When we get to the end of the cylcle the panel is showing 6 and F (flipping back and forth). It has happened before but we've been able to start the drain cycle over and the load has finished. Did the first load of wash today and the cycle keeps stopping at the end showing 6 and F and we have not been able to get it to finish the cylce.

My compressor comes up to 150 pounds and when it supposed to go to cycle mode it tries to pump again and get stuck between the two modes. it goes cylcle pump cylce pump.

The pressure switch will usually not let the compessor cut back in untill the pressure drops about 20 psi from cut-out pressure. This differntial can be adjusted by turning the differential adjustment screw. I would check that the switch is not faulty first. Look for switch model number under the cover and look for factory cut-out pressure. If the pressure range is different from factory specs, suspect switch is failing, or someone has tried to adjust the pressure. Dont take a chance with possible faulty switch on this expensive compressor. Switch is adjustable but you can replace for about $50. Good luck

My washer will work on everything except the spin cylcle...it will not drain the water out. Please help....don't know what to do

Replace the defective lid switch,it is under the control console. their are screws in the back of each end cap securing the control panel to the top. Also make sure the screws holding the left side hinge to the lid are tight because they also move the arm that activates the lid switch. very easy repair Good Luck

How do you get the lid off to replace the lid switch.

remove the screws on each end of the control panel, some units you have to remove the end caps to get to the screws, then flip back the control panel it has plastic hinges so be careful, then you unplug the lid switch, remove the two clips with a screwdriver that hold the back on,open the lid and reach on the inside and pull the back towards you and lift off the base, replace the switch and reinstall!

Need to replace spin switch on Kenmore 110.26832690. Have switch but can't get to it.

you would need to remove the outter base,,,,first unplug machine, then remove the screws on the control panel each end,,some machines you have to remove the panel end caps to get at the screws,,,then pull the panel forward a bit and flip it back it has plastic hinges on top so be careful,,then you can unplug the lid switch,,pop off the 2 gold clips with a screwdriver that hold the base to the back panel,,,,then open the lid reach inside the rim pull the back of the base up and towards you and lift off ,,,if you look inside and pay attention to how it comes off the bottom frame it will be a whole lot easier to put back,,,once the base is off you can replace the lid switch then reinstall the base,,, don't forget to plug the switch back in!

How to replace a inlet water valve on top loading whirlpool washing machine model wtw5200vq2

These aren't to bad but hopefully I can clairify well enough for you to follow. You will need a phillips screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver and a 1/4 inch driver (or socket). Slide the unit out and disconnect the water lines and unplug the washer all together. Now stand directly in front of the washer and look at your control panel. That whole console with the 3 selector switches and timer are going to be flipped upside down, backwards off the cabinet. If you look to the left and right of that console you will see a plastic end cap (or ears) on each end of the panel those knobs and the timer are stuck in. You need to look to the backside of the washer at both of those plastic end caps and you will see a phillips screw pointing towards the ground at a slight angle. They should be the only phillips screws in the end cap and they have a special tab right above them to keep them from coming out with vibration. Use your phillips to push in the tab while unscrewing these 2 screw (one in each end cap). Once unscrewed pull the whole panel forward about 1/4 inch and it should release and flip backwards.
If you got it then hard parts over. K, now we work on the area you just exposed by moving the console. Unplug the connector to the lid switch by pulling up locking tab and pulling out the wire connector. You should see 2 brass clips locking the rear panel to the cabinet. Examine them before taking them out so you will be able to pop them back in the same way they are coming out. Use the flat head to slide into the cabinet part of the brass clip and pry to the back of the washer. It should go down straight and pry to the back. You have just freed the whole cabinet front but don't take it all the way off because it can be tricky to get back on. Just lean the back panel out so you can access the valve for replacing and you got it.

Star TSP700 Receipt Printer cutter doesn't stop

What you need to do is flip the printer over. Look to the right of the label with the model number on it, you will see a panel with one phillips head screw. Unscrew that screw, remove that panel, and look at the 2 sets of dip switches. For standard operation all of the switches should be flipped to the right. Chances are your number 1 switch will be to the left. Flip it to the right, put the panel back on, screw the screw back in, plug everything in, turn it on, install drivers, and you are good to go.

I have a Kenmore Elite 110.26962502 and need to remove lid.

Once those are removed you flip up the whole control panel. You do not remove the end caps on that particular washer. Here is some PICTURES

I had the problem with the washer not agitating once it filled.

The control panel has a clip at each front corner. Push a putty knife between the case top and the control panel, at the corner and you will feel a spring clip. Push toward the rear of the machine to conpress the clip and it will release. Repeat at other corner. The panel has two connectors on the back at the top corners. The newer machines will allow the panel to roll over the back, carefully. Otherwise there will be two screws that will need to be removed.
