Question about Weiser Lock POWERBOLT ELEC DEADBOLT
Open door so you will have access to both sides (need 2 hands at same time) - hold down 'lock' button while with other hand, remove battery pack for 15 seconds. Reinsert battery pack & then release the 'lock' button. Ensure new batteries, otherwise can remove batteries from holder for 30 sec then reinsert. s/b smooth operating deadbolt latch when door open - may also have to adjust latch plate slightly on doorway if required.

You should replace your batteries as the motor that moved the deadbolt does not have enough power to move it with weak batteries. If that fails make sure the deadbolt moves freely when the lock is removed as the mis-aligned mounting will cause excessive force be exerted to move the deadbolt.
