The Canon MG5220 has a built-in auto duplexer and can print 2-sided documents. On a Mac, click print, and in the print dialog box select Duplex Printing & Margins (drop down options below Printer and Presets). Check the Duplex Priting box, and selected the Stapling side. Then click Print. That's it!!

This model Canon printer does not have a duplex unit and therefore cannot print double sided documents automatically.
You can print double sided documents, but one page at a time. For instructions on how to print double sided documents, click on this link and follow my instructions :-

SOURCE: how to get a Canon

If you have a Canon MG5220 you certainly can print two-sided. I have one and I print two=sided pages. When you bring up your print menu underneath "Orientation" is a small window that likely says "layout". Click that window and you will have various options to choose from; color matching, paper handling, cover page, quality media color options. borderless printing and duplex printing & margin. Choose Duplex & Margin. Once you've clicked that you'll see a check box for duplex printing, click that box. You have other options for for reduced or normal printing (your choice) and then if you're stapling there's options for the side you'd prefer but the point is once you've checked off that box for duplex printing you're set to go.

My Canon printer MG5220 printer says that there is a paper output slot - paper jam

It means one of the sensors did not send a movement of paper, when needed. Could be a sheet of paper, a scrap of paper, but sometimes something just dropped into the printer, like a paper clip. So carefully look (with a torch or other bright light) if you can find anything where the paper should go. also open and close the printer as if you replace cartridges an see if you can find anything that does not belong in a printer.
If you can't find a thing and when you unplugged the printer from the mains for a few seconds. and then switched it on and the error keeps coming back, contact a service centre or buy a new printer.

How to load photo paper in paper tray canon mg5220

For front or front tray loading printers, shiny side down... for rear/back loading printers.., shiny side up. Pictures should be visible coming out of the exit slot. Using pre-cut photo paper requires some technique, if the paper holder does not have an adjustable paper width feature. Feed paper in one sheet at a time to prevent jambs.
