Do you mean the axes? If the axes aren't showing (and they're in the window range), execute the AxesOn command from the menu.

In order to give the calculator a function to graph, you will want to enter the y= window by pressing the top left most button on the calculator. a menu similar to the one above will open, wherein you can enter an equation for the calculator to graph, such as (x^2-2). On the ti-83 itself, you can enter up to 9 equations to be graphed at once. after that, you may want to go to the window menu, where you can set the dimensions of the graphing plane in both the x row and y column. to view the graph, press the top right most button on the device.
hope that helps :)

### How do I graph sinx on my Casio fx-9750GII calculator?

Turn calculator ON
If you see no icons, press Menu
Press 3 (Graph) draw your function. (more on that later).
If the first line of the display show Graph Func : Y= you should be able to draw your function.
If it says anything else, press F3 TYPE to select the graph type and select functional by pressing F1 key Y=.
After the graph type is set to Y=, type the second member of your function y= f(x) on the first line. Make sure the = sign after Y1= remains highlighted after you move cursor. Otherwise select the function by pressing F1:SEL. Press F6 Draw.
Be careful with trigonometric functions. If angle unit is radian, set window Zoom to standard. If angle unit is degree, you must open the Window utility and set Xmin=-190, Xmax = 190 to see at least a period.

### Sine graph is straight

If the angle unit is set to degrees and you use the standard window dimensions (Xmin=-10, Xmax=10) then all you will see is a straight line: Between 0 and 10 degrees, the sine is approximately equal to 0 and the cosine is about 1.

To see the features of the trigonometric functions you must do one of the following
1. Set angle to degree but set window dimensions to span the domain -180 to 180 or larger.
2. Set windows dimensions to the standard -10, 10 range but set angle degree to radians

### How do i graph?

The fact that you are asking how to graph makes believe that you solved the problem about 'invalid dimension' . I am glad that worked for you.

This

1. Prepare calculator for graphing
Turn StatPlotsOff to avoid errors:

Press [2nd][STATPLOT][4:PlotsOff][ENTER].

2. Setup Graph type
• Press [MODE] key.
• In Mode set up screen, make set the angle unit (if you are drawing trigonometric functions)..
• Use the arrows to move cursor to 3rd line to highlight degree or radian and press [ENTER]. The important thing is that you be aware of the unit so that you do not get unexpected results.
• On same screen, verify that Func is highlighted. If you are drawing PARametric plots, POLar plots or SEQuence plots, you highlight the relevant item in the list
• If it is not, use arrow to highlight Func and press [ENTER] to validate.
• Do not worry if you do not have exactly the same screen as in the screen picture (We may have different OS Versions)

3. Entering the functions to draw (assuming you want to draw y= functions)
• Press [Y=] to enter function editor.
• Type in a function
• Press [ENTER] at the end of each function.
• Before pressing [GRAPH], make sure that all the = signs that define the functions to be graphed are highlighted white on black. If one is not highlighted, use arrow to move cursor on the sign and press [ENTER].
• In the screen capture 4 functions are slated to be drawn.

4. Selecting the Graph Style (You may ignore this now, because it is unimportant for just one graph)
• Select the graph style: The small piece of line to the left of a Y that defines a function is the style.
• Move cursor on it and press [ENTER] .
• Each [ENTER] (on same line) selects another style.
• On the next screen you have all the styles available on the calculator.
• Do not select the bubble on line 6: It is for animations. It will not leave a trace at the end of the plot.

5. Drawing the Graphs
• Press [GRAPH] to see the graphs.
• If one of them is missing, verify that its = is still highlighted, then use the [WINDOW] to set the Window dimensions,
• Here are the dimensions of the standard window

6. ZOOMING
You can also press [ZOOM] to adjust.

The selection 6:ZStandard sets the dimensions as on the screen Titled Window (above).

### I can't graph more than one equation in the y= area of my Ti 84+

Hello,
The marking that so puzzle you define the type of line (or dots) to represent the graphs. Enter as many functions as there are Y variables.
After entering a function press [ENTER] to jump to the next one.
When finished entering all functions press GRAPH. If you want graphs drawn one after the other, in MODE highlight Sequential (6th line) and press ENTER. If you want graphs drawn simultaneously, in MODE (6th line) highlight Simul and press ENTER. Press 2ND QUIT to return to previous screen . Execute graph again.
Hope itr helps.
