The error indicates the following : Head overheating error.

Yes it is most likely the print head itself or at worst the logic board.

Replace head/logic board is the only answer.

5200/P08 - Orange and green light blinking 8 times Description:

A service error has occurred.
Resolution:
  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Disconnect the power cable.
  3. Open the printer cover.
  4. Check for any orange protective tape or white polystyrene and remove if necessary.
  5. Check that there are no foreign objects in the printer (such as a paper clip) and remove if necessary.
  6. Close the cover.
  7. Reconnect and turn on.

My black ink button on my pixma mp495 printer is blinking. Why?


A B LED light denotes that the black ink cartridge is running low.
A C LED light denotes that the colour ink cartridge is running low.
If the alarm light is on (lightning bolt in a triangle) it should be accompanied by an error code.
Canon MP495 - Error Codes If the printer displays an error message, the following information should help to diagnose the problem.
The led screen on the printer will flash a letter E and will then be followed by two numbers:
Error Description More Info Error E02 The machine is out of paper or will not feed. Error E03 Paper jam or output tray is closed. More Info Error E04 The Cartridge cannot be recognised. More Info Error E05 The Cartridge cannot be recognised. More Info Error E07 Cartridge is not installed in the correct position. More Info Error E08 Ink absorber is almost full. Error 5200 and Error P08 are same.. Remove your catridge for few minutes and replace ...

Canon pixma mp272 printer. replaced black cartridge for the first time and now it wont print. getting error p08 on the printer and error 5200 on my laptop screen


Hello Hellen,
the error P08 is error for abnormal temperature in print head. Aa possible cause the ink cartridge is faulty and needs to be replaced.The same error description is for 5200 on your PC.

I recommend that you try to replace ink cartrigde under warranty in store where you bought it. If after that you still have error, take the printer to the service center because they logic board ( pcb ) is faulty.

Error code p08


It seems the print head temperature exceeding the specified value. Replace the Ink cartridge. If problem not solved, replace the logic board.

What is the meaning of the error code p08 error 5200 showing in the canon pixma 250 inkjet all in one?

This error is wasted ink full reset the printer press reset button and hold then press on relase and press twice reset button is now in maintenance mode to reset wasted pad ink press 4 times the reset button then turn the printer button on/off

I have canon mp 258 with error e27 how would i resolve it?


Canon error e27 ink absorber full/reset process

printer powered off but connected on power source , you must:
1. Press & hold stop/reset button, and then press & hold [ON/OFF] button.

2. When Green power lit, leave stop/reset button & press twice stop/reset (see orange indicator).
3. Leave On/Off button. Printer in actually service mode.
4. Press stop/reset 4 times (see orange indicator) if not blink restart above process from top.
5. After press stop/reset 4 times successful press On/Off button 3 times. printer will off.
6. Press On/Off button.
