Part number depends on which fan you are talking about. This has a diagram and list of parts.

Fridge freezer making a loud buzzing noise

My Samsung refrigerator (rf263aebp) was making an awful buzzing noise in the rear after only 1 year. I solved the problem by loosening the rear panel that covers the fan. Apparently, it was too tight and was rubbing on something (the fan?) and causing the noise.

Dryer makes a grinding type noise as it drys. i

Depending on the kind of grinding noise your hearing, it could be a number of things. If your dryer has been doing this for quite a while it could be that the front and/or rear felt have become worn or broken. if these are gone the drum will make contact with the inner rim of the door and the back portion of the dryer part number for both front and back tumbler seals is 33001807. If however the noise you are hearing has just recently and suddenly happened, this could indicate that possibly something has got caught inside the these same felts or seals. If the noise you are hearing is more of a loud buzzing this could indicate that something has obstructed the blower wheel inside the dryer, and is now rubbing against the fan blades of the fan. part number for the blower fan can vary depending on your SERIAL number. If you want to take a look insaide your dryer. FIRST UNPLUG IT. then with the door removed there should be two screws at the bottom of your unit. once removed you can now remove the "U" shaped bracket around the base and door. now you will be able to see inside. if you need to lift the top there are two screws at the left and right sides that hol brackets to the top. remove these and you now have access to the whole dryers drum, heater etc. Hope this helps

Thanks

Makes loud noises

Although there may not be any gas parts involve you should have gas technician work on the unit. Depending on the noise your hearing it could be a number of things, if its making a scraping noise it could be that your front drum glides are gone allowing the drum to ride on the frame of the door. glide part numbers are 306508. if the noise you hear sounds like a grating sound it could be that your blower wheel has something caught in it and is now rubbing on all of the fan blades on the blower.blower part number is 33002797. if you hear a loud banging noise you could have a rear bearing issue. both roller bearing part numbers are y303373.hope this helps

Thanks

Very loud clicking noise from my LG LSC26905TT refridgerator

first you have to remove all shelves in the freezer, then remove all screws in the interior rear panel. In some cases you'll have to remove a couple of shelf tabe located on the side wall. Once tha panel is removed, the fan will be in plain sight. The blade is usually aboue 4-5 inches in diameter and is attached to a small motor with 2 wires and a green grounding wire. Note: you might want to check why it's making noise. Is there ice built up around the blades? Are you getting too much moisture entering the box thru faulty door gaskets?

Fan started making noise

I have one of these, and every so often, the fan would start making a loud clicking noise. I discovered that if I shut the fridge off for a while and left the door open to defrost it, it'd work fine again for a while before the noise came back. Apparently, some ice was building up between the metal heat-sink and the fan, causing the fan blades to scrape against the ice/frost build-up and make the "tick, tick tick" noise.
There is no compressor in the Avanti EC15W-2 mini fridge. It uses a simple Peltier junction device to transfer heat from the inside of the fridge to the outside/rear of the unit. So it should never get very loud at all, unless one of the two fans in it is acting up in some way.

Inside back of freezer making a loud noise like a horrable vibrating noise. whirlpool side by side ED22TQXGW00 sounds like something is vibebrating real bad it's a whirlpool sj2446090 model ED22TQXGW00...

Hello the fault is most likely to be the defrost system building up frost around the fan and causing the bad sound to prove this just turn off freezer for about 10 hours to defrost and restart if noise has gone away then your defrost system is faulty

I own an LG up right refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. The unit is about three years old and we have been very happy with the frig. Lately the unit has been making a loud fan winding noise....

  • i would just replace the fan motor $40
  • they have bushings in them that sometimes make noise when the motor shaft moves to a certain position. when you open the door it disrupts the airflow of the refrigerator and the motor shaft will go to a different position causing the noise to stop.
