The Andis T-Outliner that you purchase from the USA is not for UK voltage 220 50 HZ, the Voltage is too high, the only way to control the voltage is transformer from 220V to 120 V. The Andis Trimmer that may work for you is the GTX trimmer this trimmer was manufactured for Canada and there voltage is 220V 50HZ.

This unit will not work correctly in the UK as it has a magnetic motor. No matter how you try to tune it it will be very loud and eventually the motor will burn out.

Hi, these are precision blades and can not be sharpened like that, unfortunately purchasing new blade is your only option!

Clipper blade sharpeners are availale but the cost of these typically start at about $300 and go as high as several thousand dollars. This makes it unaffordable for home use.
For affordable, professional clipper blade sharpening, I suggest you contact the folks at clipperparts.com

Your clipper moves at just one speed. There is no way to 'speed it up' if it is working correctly.

This product is not intended for use in the UK. Voltage converters do not always work correctly and will actually ruin your trimmer for use in the USA. It would be best if you purchased a trimmer meant to be used in the UK.

Please contact our customer service for a distributor near you.

Thank you for choosing Andis.

look if the trimmer is pulling hair, its not lack of oil
its maybe the speed of the trimmer needs to be faster.
its the the plastic flat head skrew on the side.check if the blades separate easiley if theyt do sometimes that makes the trimmer pull hair to.there might be a little plate on the inside of the trimmer and its not holding the blades tight.adjust that not to tight though then the trimmer wont cut

Try the fuse in the plug first then try to move the cable where it enters the clippers it may just be a faulty cable.
Otherwise it will need stripping apart and testing, Sorry

First off all when buying a step down transformer for these clippers or any other electrical equitment make sure u read the label check cycle 50/60 ,and watt transformer need to be the same are close enough, with is hard to get on tha market, get it made custom,I'm a barber and we have a little trick open your andis clipper ,get spong cut it neatly just a bit thicker than the space between movin part and amateur (coil) insert spong between, not centre bit top bit to blade that's where knocking comin from it can cause that movin bit to break, trim spong until u get it quit but able to cut ,note blade will get hot because of wrong transformer and can damage coil
