Hello, Ivan -

Even though the swing plays music, if it is running on battery power, the batteries may still need to be replaced.

From:
Manual for Ingenuity InLighten Cradling Swing
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1214138/Kids-Ii-Ingenuity.html#manual
Page 8
(Quote)
Weak batteries cause erratic product operation, including distorted sound, dimming or failed lights, and slow or non-working motorized parts. Because each electrical component requires a different operating voltage, replace the batteries when any function fails to operate.
(End quote)

If yours is not the InLighten Cradling Swing model, it will help to know which model your swing is. You can choose Comment and type the model name in the Comment box.

If you do not find my answer helpful, I suggest you contact the Kids2 Customer Service. Ingenuity products are made by Kids2 (also known as Kids II). This is the link to the Kid2 Contact Us page:

Best wishes.

If you Google the make and model of what you're assembling, you can usually get an online manual with the instructions from one of the many companies that offer user manuals. Then you can save and even print one for yourself.
