Check whether the pump runs when you start a new cycle as this is the default behaviour for most machines to ensure that they are empty before starting the wash. If the pump runs then it likely that the filter in the bottom of the machine requires cleaning.

Daft question but have you checked the tap for the water inlet is on?
if that doesn't fix it, check for blockages in the water inlet pipe (the blue flexible one) and check the waste pipe and filter.

For Bosch dishwashers, the E21 error indicates that there is a problem with the circulation pump. This pump pushes the water through the spray arms. Check for blockages between the motor and the pump or inside the pump. If there is no blockage, the pump probably needs to be replaced. Note: remove the water in the bottom of the dishwasher tub before attempting to access the pump. If the motor and other parts under the tub get wet, the dishwasher could give a flood error when you next use the unit.

Please add a comment with the make and model number for a parts diagram/list. I hope this helps.

Try unplugging it, or if you can't unplug it, turn the breaker off at the breaker box and leave it off for about 10 minutes to reset the values on the dishwasher. Good luck...

Check float valve actuator, might be indicating empty when water left behind. Think you can hear switch actuate as you move it.
So no clog or twist in drain hose? Manual indicates any standing water drains in first 45 secs. Makes me wonder if that is now normal. Was it always or just started to leave water....
Make sure you clean filter located in bottom

  • HomeApplianceService Jan 08, 2019 Do you have a volt meter. If so remove the wire harness going to water inlet valve. Get your prones hooked to the two wireharness going into inlet valve. Start the machine and when it is time to fill water there should be 110 V on your meter. If no 110 V that means either the water level switch (float) is not working (you have replaced that I supposed) or control board not sending power or your wire harness between the control board and water level switch and inlet valve is broken. I have come across the wire harness is just pinched and broken at the very end where it get connected to the inlet valve. (Be careful with electricity when doing live tests. If you are not familiar with working multi meter and electricity, please call a repair guy).

You won't see any water as there is a tray in the bottom of the machine specifically to catch leaks to save your floor. That is where the sensor is, and could only work if there was a tray to catch the leak.
