HiTi has discontinued this printer. You can find drivers for Windows XP here (file download). I found the driver on this site. The driver may be compatible.

This site claims to have a driver for Windows 7 X64.

To do an NVRAM reset follow these steps:

1. Turn off the printer.
2. Hold down the Cancel button and the right arrow button and while holding them turn on the power.
3. Wait for the message Permanent storage unit. Then release the buttons.

Wait for about 2 min. When the printer is back at the ready screen it has been reset.

it will reset EVERYTHING, including your serial number and everything else that matters.

Follow the steps given below to reset Epson L382 printer.
Step 1: Turn the printer off.
Step 2: Press and hold the reset button which is on the back of the printer using a paper clip or tip of a pen.
Step 3: Turn on the printer by holding the Power & reset button and continue to hold both the buttons.
Step 4: Wait for 5 seconds and a warning sheet will print. Release the reset button.
Step 5: After 5 seconds, another sheet will print which will show the IP address of the printer.

Look for a thin mylar strip running behind the printheads which should be sitting in a little guide tab, but has probably fallen out. Put the mylar strip back in place. Recommended by Canon support, one poster reports permanent resolution of the problem. The Canon tech said he gets about three calls a week for this problem.
