I have worked on these pumps. More than likely the front bearing has seized. Unfortunately these pump motors appear to be a relatively low quality unit. You can try to disassemble the pump impellor housing and attempt to turn the pump manually. If the pump bearings haven't frozen up completely you may get some limited life out of it. It is not an easy task to completely strip the pump motors as the die-cast metal housings are prone to corrosion and have a tendency to crack or crumble especially if the bearings have rusted into the housings. If the pump motor has failed, salvage the pump controller pressure switch from it and fit it to a replacement pump. Look on ebay for something similar like a QB60 peripheral pump. They are quite cheap but quality varies depending on the vendor/supplier.

1) Verify if the problem appears on all the three colors of the ink cartridge.

2) Go to the Calibrate Color tab on the front panel of your Xerox printer.

3) Print a Color Reference page and adjust the color settings on the printer's control panel.

4) Check if the toner levels are low in the cartridge. If the toner level is less or empty, replace the toner cartridge with a one that is compatible with your Xerox Color 550 printer.

5) After installing the replacement cartridges, print a test page to confirm if the problem has been fixed.

Hello, David -

Did you replace all 4 batteries? If not, Hokey Pokey Elmo takes 4 AA batteries:

If all 4 batteries are new, the problem may be with the circuit board or wiring.

This video of disassembling a Tickle Me Elmo may be instructive if you wish to open up your Hokey Pokey Elmo and check on the wiring and circuit board:
I suspect Tickle Me Elmo and Hokey Pokey Elmo were built the same way.

More about Tickle Me Elmo (which may prove helpful with Hokey Pokey Elmo):
Sometimes there is just a broken wire in the box due to the vibrations made by the oscillator and or the batteries being removed and replaced activity. A blown circuit is rare unless someone tried to fix it and wired it wrong. It only takes a millisecond to blow a component if wired wrong. Same holds if a circuit gets wet ! Best advice is to remove the power source i.e. the batteries; and dry everything before turning it on !

The circuit itself is a small card. There are a few discrete components that are wired to the card. Check the connections. If you don't know exactly where the broken wire goes, don't guess ! It could be the end of Elmo as you knew him ! Get advice ! It could be the difference of a quick soldering and having to replace the entire unit. Don't be afraid of opening it up while just checking. Just put the screws back the way they came out.

Do it all with the batteries removed, please !

If the Device does nothing, it maybe the on/off switch. The batteries are obviously the first thing you checked, right?

If it talks; but, doesn't wiggle, its the oscillator connection.

If it wiggles but doesn't talk, it may just be the speaker wire.

If it talked but didn't wiggle and someone worked on it and now it does nothing, the person blew a component on the board. Most likely a capacitor. They don't take change in polarity very well ! The whole board is as cheap as the sum of its parts and labor.
(End quote)

If you get Hokey Pokey Elmo back to working properly, be sure to remove all 4 batteries when not in use and stored for a period of time, so that the batteries do not corrode and ruin Elmo.

Best wishes.

You can get the Pixma MG3220 to print its current LAN details from the Maintenance menu on the printer. Make sure that the printer is on and has A4 or letter-sized plain paper loaded in the paper tray. Press the Maintenance button (the icon looks like a pair of pliers next to a screwdriver) repeatedly until you see an lowercase n or (upside down U) in the LED display. Press the Black or Color button.

The print-out will provide the IPv4 address and the IPv6 address (if the IPv6 protocol is enabled) among other details. For an idea of what the network information sheet will look like see: . There is a PDF that shows the output format.

I hope this helps.
