Hotel TVs use unique remote codes so guests will not steal the remotes. A universal remote is unlikely to contain the code.

You can download a Samsung Remote Control App, I'll keep looking for a solution, I have an identical TV but I swear I don't think it has a power button. Plug in a HDMI, Aux, or USB device and see what happens. The apps for your phone that covtrol the tv are great, especially if you gave a Samsung phone, if not no worries as I have an iPhone personally.

I have a luxor 32in TV
LUX0132009/01 model. It's been fine but now the volume symbol wont go off the screen which then stops the remote doing anything. Is there a way I can fix this myself?

If you can connect it to the internet and update the firmware that'll do the trick as long as no "hard" parts are damaged and if they were it wouldn't do what it does do perfectly. This is a software issue. Call a trusted local electronics shop, they're most valuable and answer questions freely most times, especially if they're a Visio Dealer!

Plug it into a laptop or any computer and transfer the files as if it were any others "Flash Drive" or "SD" style card!

Have you adjusted any audio output settings? It sounds possible but if you haven’t and it’s a problem that around out of nowhere then I’d suggest just being comfortable with auxiliary sound like the sorrowing aound yuh have or picking up a good used one from your local Craigslist or FB Marketplace Page. I’ve picked up several name brand 55”-60” TV’s for around $150-$200 and it’s like that all day every day if you don’t mind a used one- I certainly don’t, some of the best ones I’ve had were used and still going strong! You may even be able to trade something, Bebe hurts to ask. Good Luck my Friend and Let me know if I can Help Further! See message below.

Count your losses and get a good used one from Craigslist or FB Marketplace. I’ve picked up several 55” TV’s from quality manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Sony, etc. in the $150-$200 Range. Plus you may be able to trade something to save some cash, it’s worth a try but you’ll definitely get one immediately for a fraction of the cost of a new one to replace it. Thanks and see the information below!
