What's your question exactly?

You don't mention a brand or model. Try unplugging from the wall socket for 15 minutes, and then re-apply power. It may have a hung up microprocessor or DAC. Or it may have a bad power supply.
If it uses a 'wall wort' that plugs into the wall, check the specified voltages it is supposed to produce, and measure for correct output.

I don't have such TV or anything, but since it's a HD ready TV and not a smart TV, I am pretty sure it doesnt have support for an app for on demand video.

Check with your mobile phone if the remote is constantly firing. That can be done by looking with the phone camera to the IR blaster in front of the remote. If so, then there's your power going.

This problem is related to the mainboard and should be replaced. You can try to heat up the microprocessor with a heat gun though best solution is to replace mainboard. Part number is EBU60864321.

Hope this helps!

Start with checking the fuse inside the recorder itself. If that is fine, check the internal power converter for any blown capacitors.

It sounds like a wire is having problems inside the TV itself for the power to the panel. The clicking you hear is probably sparks inside the TV of the cable having problems. Please open the TV up and check the cables going to the panel.

It must be the screen that is faulty

Sounds like the main cable going from the controller board to the LCD panel itself. This means mostly that you need an entire new LCD panel.
