First step in this kind of issue is check the data cable is properly socketed.
Second step is perform a copy operation directly from the printer. If this fails your issue is printer or cartridge, so swap out the cartridge and retry. If still no copy - your printer has an electronics fault.
Step three is try a document ( D2) from a different application (App2). If it prints the new document (D2) - your issue is with the original document (D1) or the application (App1) printing from. Try printing a different document (D3) from the original application (App1). If document D3 prints from App1 - the fault is in the document D1, and if document D3 fails to print - the fault is in App1.

Hello nelco9,I can help you clear the code easy enough. But there is a strong probability the code will come back almost immedietly.Copiers use high heat and pressure to bond the toner to the paper.It is of course critical to accurately monitor this high temp as to insure against fire.The code E0000000-001 means that for any number of reasons the copier did not or could not reliably monitor this temp.Now, something as simple as a momentary variation in the power to the plug the device is plugged into can cause this code as the plug voltage and/or frequency is sufficient to interfere with the copier's ability to track the temp, so lets hope for the best.Trust me there are so many fail safes involved in this process that the copier will properly shut down if the problem is serious.Ok,locate the'ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS" button on the op panel.It is just to the right of the 9 key pad.Press it, let go, then the numbers 2&8 simaltaneously,let go, then ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS again.You will see a new screen.Press "copier". Tabs appear at the top.Press the "function" button.New screen again.Press "clear".New screen.Press "ERR" .Press "OK" in the lower right corner.Now if you TRULY know where the main power switch is (right rear of copier about halfway down) then power the copier off.If in doubt simply unplug the copier.When you turn it back on the copier will attemt to start up as normal.If it does then congrats !!.If it fails you will need a new fusing unit which can run as high as $800. This is fixing error. I don't see the model so it makes it hard to know what to do. If it is a imagerunner - you have to go into service mode - Additional Functions, the press 2 & 8 at the same time, then additional functions again. That should get you into service mode. Then press copier, the function, clear, the err, then ok. This clears the error. Turn off copier then power back on. If the same error occurs then you will have to have a new fixing assy or rebuild it. Be careful in service mode and don't change any settings. This may cause worse problems. Good Luck

  • To start machine in service mode, with the machine off, press and hold the ON button (do not let go). While holding ON, press the Stop button 5 times. Now release the ON button.
  • Run the Print Enabler utility software that you got using the above link.

Sounds like you are trying to convince the machine to print a document on to paper half the size required without telling the machine to reduce or scale the document to fit the target paper

Follow these steps for remove the printer head for cleaning:

  • Turn the printer on.
  • Open the printer tray.
  • open the document cover without pressing the any button.
  • Open the ink cover, wait for the printer head holder to move to the replacement position. Do not touch the printer head holder until it stop completely. Do not touch the any part inside the machine.
  • Push the ink tab and lift it out of the printer.
  • Remove the reset of ink tank.
  • Press and hold the stop button few times, release the button the cartridge moves to the right.
  • Open the inner cover of printer.
    Use the finger to grab the top of the center tab & pull out the printer head.
