Although I'm not familiar with this model, it sounds like a switch is stuck or misaligned. With most electronic things, there's a physical toggle switch (sometimes 2 magnetic points, similar to a window security system) located somewhere along the drawers tracks or latch or at the back. Try to find it and see if it still freely moves. If it does than most likely the switch has failed and needs replacement. Hope this helps and good luck!

circuit breakers trip from excessive current and poor insulation or moisture around electrical contacts
call in an electrician to test the unit first and then repair / replace what is found to be faulty
remember that the power point for the unit may also be on the house circuit that is having a problem unit somewhere else that is causing the fault
